Mountainside changed my life in a way I never thought possible. From the staff to the programming to the people I met there, I truly couldn’t be more grateful for my experience there and my sobriety today. Even though I’ve been gone almost a year the alumni department, specifically Isabelle, still make a point to stay in contact with me to support my recovery. Mountainside will always have a very special place in my heart!

The highest compliment I can pay to Mountainside and its staff is that I truly felt and still feel like a member of their family. The staff is caring thoughtful and dedicated. I loved all that Mountainside had to offer - hiking, yoga, mediation and a beautiful gym to name a few. I know exactly where I would be without them and it is a dark and terrible place. My family and I thank you for the love and support that saved me.
Throughout several attempts at recovery my time at mountainside has been the most positive experiences I can recall. From the kitchen staff, to counselors, admissions, nursing and alumni I have nothing but good things to say about them. I am now 9 months sober and going strong (a personal best). 5 stars
I am overly greatful for Mountainside, not only for guiding me in the beginning of my sobriety journey, but also for the services they offer after I left residential. I've had many great experiences and life changing moments during many events.
I had the pleasure of being coached by Dina, for the past year, plus. I cannot thank her enough for the gifts she gave me. I’m not easily persuaded. In fact, I’m used to getting my way, a lot. Dina never rolled over and that’s exactly what I needed. After some time, I took her suggestions and added a therapist, got a PCP and began actually seeking medical care again, and also back to the de that. Where I have had substantial work done so far, and am excited to continue the journey. If it wasn’t for Tucker persistently trying to help me, I would’ve never met Dina. And what a loss that would’ve been. A great friend and teacher that has helped to see the value and power within myself, and achieve closeness with the cosmos, once again. I’m extremely grateful. 🙏🏻
Mountainside will always hold a special place in my heart. I have struggled with addiction for many years and received the help I so desperately needed here. The facility and accommodations are absolutely superior. It is a very warm and inviting place. But what makes Mountainside special is the incredible staff and the personalized attention each client is graced with. I truly had a shift in thinking about my sobriety and what I want for my life during my stay. I feel lucky that I found this community and am blessed to be part of the Mountainside family.
Six years ago, I was ready to make a change, and I asked for help. I was lucky that my family found Mountainside. They made the recommendation based on their reputation as one of the best treatment centers in the US. I had been through other programs over the 12 years that I was struggling, but mountainside's program and their "whole life wellness" approach helped me establish a foundation for a life that I truly never imagined would be possible. The experiences that I had were great. The staff there were incredible, and those that were in recovery understood what I was going through firsthand. I have felt supported throughout my journey, even after I stopped being a client. I feel grateful for the staff, the facility, and everyone I met along the way as they all helped me get to the place that I am today.
I had a great experience at Mountainside. I love that they have many different outlooks and ways to maintain your recovery. Whether that is spiritual through yoga, they focus on mind and body with offering things like hiking/sweat lodges. They also offer the 12 step approach. The staff was very caring as well. Very professional, a great place to get sober!
