I had the pleasure of staying in patient after spinal cord surgery. It was an excellent experience! The staff was kind, and caring. The physical therapists were passionate about my recovery. They challenged me, and always made sure the exercises were not causing me pain. The food was very good; Chef Jerry makes delicious soups. The staff assist you to your table by caring your tray, and remove the trays when your finished. My family visited me several times during lunch. The food was surprisingly cheap. I like the experience so much, I'm now attending out patient therapy. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wanted a professional atmosphere with compassionate staff.

As an employee at Mountain Valley for nearly 4 years, I truly love working here. We have a large, beautiful, therapy gym with lots of equipment and technology to really help our patients and have fun at the same time. I really enjoy the interdisciplinary collaboration that I get to be a part of everyday. This is the only hospital in all of Yavapai County that offers this type of intensive, skilled, inpatient rehabilitation, and we get to make a big difference in people's lives when they are going through their worst of times. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

I chose to go to this facility after surgery for a broken hip. My stay lasted about twelve days during which I received excellent therapy. I got there on a gurney and walked out with a walker at the end of my stay. I was treated with respect and dignity by all the staff there.

My Grandpa was admitted here at the end of a long recovery process. I had the pleasure to fly down and stay with him, in his room, for a week. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and efficient. All the nurses treat the patients with great care and are so personable. Everyone on the therapy staff are so patient and kind. The food was amazing as well. It is an amazing facility and would recommend highly to anyone in need.

My husband has been at MVRRH for almost 3 weeks. I’m there 6 to 11 hours every day I’m so impressed with every department and all of the personnel There must be an excellent training program and very professional management I’d rate this facility number one in comparison to many I e seen in various locations in other locations in the country!!

This is the best place hands down to get your physical therapy. I have been here twice and Everytime they hold nothing back to get me to where I need to be. The staff are always very helpful. The food is awesome!! I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

This facility is absolutely terrible. It’s hard to believe they are ranked in the “top 10%” nationally—if that’s true, the state of hospitals must be dire. If you want your loved ones neglected, this is the place. My grandmother was left soaked for 24 hours, and my grandfather, who is paralyzed and unable to speak, was ignored for long periods. The staff here are dangerous and neglectful, often determining the level of care based on personal bias. They gossip about patients and will label you as crazy or confused if your needs don’t align with their preferences. This place is unsafe, and patients are at risk!

Let me start out by saying I have never written a review. I thought this placed deserved to be my first. I was there yesterday visiting a patient. I’m observant and I was impressed. I’m an assisted living facility manager so I go in and out of these places doing assessments and what not. Good vibes as soon as I entered. Front desk ladies were busy behind the desk, friendly and helpful. Walking down the hall it smelled cleaned and looked clean. I seen many staff buzzing around with patient care. I spoke with Tony the physician whom was at the door of the gentleman I was seeing. My guy had his physical therapy a shower and was content in his room. All around great experience.
