SUCH a great experience- from scheduling, check-in, exam and referrals! The medical assistant asked “how do you feel about me taking your weight?” This is such a thoughtful and patient-centered way to talk to patients. Exam with Sameerah was thorough and collaborative. Sameerah is knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this group if you are looking for a great primary care experience!

Horrible experience. Report that they take an integrative approach to medicine but really just a normal western medicine doctor’s office with incense and meditation bells. If you have been diagnosed with endometriosis avoid this place like the flu- go online, read Katie Edmonds book and good luck. Avoid these snake oil salesmen- they are not going to tell you anything different than a regular doctor.

I love this place. Both locations are beautiful. There's a great selection of services and practitioners. I prefer some practitioners over others, so it's worth trying different practitioners when you visit. I'm lucky that my insurance allows me to do back to back acupuncture and massage. Whenever I schedule back to back, I spend a couple of days anticipating two full hours of relaxation. Brandon, the owner, has done a wonderful job of maintaining a comfortable, clean, relaxing environment.

I was a patient/client at the Pacheco office. Everything was great in the beginning, I received excellent services from Dr. Carmona when she was there and now from Dr. Vise. However, I got billed $100 on an invoice they emailed me. They said I hadn't paid for a service back in 2021. They said it was for a consultation with Dr. Vise, and the thing is, I only started seeing her in 2022. The pdf invoice stated that $20 was due, but the email said I owed $100. I have called their office, and the person there told me to contact billing. I have emailed and called their number (who no one answers) and till now I have not received a response. I am forced to pay $100 because that is what I now owe them without an explanation. I have always asked before leaving their office if anything was due at that moment, I have always paid for my copay when needed, but this unexplained amount just showed up without explanation. I do not recommend.

Love this place! The therapists have been consistently good (I've seen at least 5-6 over time), the place is clearly well organized and operated (ease of booking appointments, reminders via email, text and phone), and the setting is lovely with easy parking. They accept insurance. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Dr Leah for acupuncture for a few years now. She has helped me with everything from mood to childbirth to digestion. I can't recommend her acupuncture treatments and Mountain Spirit enough. The environment is calm and inviting and they offer therapeutic massage which some insurances will help pay for. The front desk staff is really nice and answered all the "dumb" questions I had when I first started going, i.e. Do I tip? Where do I undress? Is there a bathroom? (Answers: Yes; In the private room while the practitioner steps out; And yes.)

I experienced some confusion around my first visit. Dawn, the manager, quickly followed up with me and made things right. She was very thorough, professional, and friendly. The newer downtown location is very nice.

The staff at Mountain Spirit take a different approach - they genuinely care and actively work to help their patients heal. As a medical "patient" I've always felt more like i just tested the patience of my practitioners/ doctors in the past rather than receive any level of quality care - this is not the case at Mountain Spirit. My concerns were listened to, acknowledged, and addressed head on by an integrative team. For over a decade I've been told I would be sickly for the rest of my life, handed a script, and sent out the door - the staff at Mountain Spirit helped change my perspective on this; I feel a little better everyday, I'm actually healing, and I am thankful that I've had the opportunity to bring this level of positive change to my life working with such wonderful, compassionate practitioners.
