My mom got a stage 4 decubitus at another facility and after her insurance said she didn’t need skilled nursing they wouldn’t help us appeal. I paid $400 a day for her to lie in a bed getting sicker and more confused until she had to go to the ICU and then to mountain manor where her wound has almost healed and she can stand again. We believe she will come home and get back to being a scholar. When the insurance denied her care they handled the appeals. When she is confused and lashing out she is treated with compassion.

My friend is currently in Mountain Manor for rehab after a car accident, and has been there for almost 2 weeks. This skilled nursing facility is well staffed, very nice and goes the extra mile to make her comfortable and feel cared for. I enjoy visiting her every day and can see how well run this facility is. She’s very happy to be at this facility compared to the one she has been at before. The OT and PT therapists are excellent, and even the food is good!
I had such a wonderful experience coming to do some training with my client. First time I came Mountain Manor. From the receptionist at check in to meeting OT & PT. This facility is clean, happy environment and fully staffed! Thank you Mountain Manor staff for assisting clients with dignity From one healthcare worker to another... Bravo
I visited my friend at this center and it was so nice. We chatted outside on a peaceful patio. I brought her some snacks and the nurses were amazing about putting them in the fridge for her. She is happy there.
This was our 2nd episode at Mountain Manor in the last 3 months. My significant other had major abdominal surgery which required a wound vac and wound care, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Additionally, he has dementia and diabetes, and the nursing staff and therapists did a phenomenal job in caring for him. His wounds healed and his strength returned for the most part. Assistant Director of Nursing Ms. Jean was really good and approachable in resolving any minor issues. Mr. Keith the evening supervisor had a good pulse on all the nuances of the facility and kept things running smooth and ensuring the patients had showers and such. Our nurses were all very good and attentive, called if they had questions or needed a nudge for any memory issue he was having and worked collaboratively in his best interest. The social work staff went above and beyond in finding a long term bed in another facility that was supported by VA and that had a compatible standard of care. Ayesa, Adriana and Carmen did really good work to make it as easeful as possible and went so far to get the necessary authorizations from the VA. Physical Therapist Nathan was incredible in learning how to work with him after his cognitive decline from the last episode. We always enjoyed going out and sitting in the courtyard or in the front sitting area. Our experience at Mountain Manor was really good and we would recommend it to others.
This care facility has the most professional health care nurses I've ever seen. My dad was a resident at Mountain Manor after his hip surgery and he felt completely secure and comfortable in their care. The staff was always available and answered all questions I had concerning his physical recovery. In addition, the facility was always clean and air always smelled fresh. My dad's room was always in nice order, clothes always put away or hanging in the closet and every time my dad had his physical therapy his bed was always made with fresh clean sheets and pillow cases. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, professional, clean environment for their loved one to stay and recover in.
What can I say? mountain manor is a great building to start with ! once every 3 months the activity director Carissa would hold a candle light dinner for the patients which I think is a wonderful idea. This activity makes the patients feel very special, promotes socialization amongst the other residents and may probably even bring back special events or memories in their lives once upon a time! They get to be in their nice clothes and enjoy a sumptuous meal!! and also, a shoutout to her assistant Mona who is such a wonderful girl! these ladies were so busy preparing almost the whole day to make this event happen.Kudos activity department! keep the patients busy with great activities that’s good for their brain, body and emotional well being!!
I met Kimberly at Mercy San Juan she advocated for my transition to skilled nursing to be safe and smooth transition. I’m extremely grateful for her assistance to in the process despite everything I had going on, this five star facility so it was personalized on arrival I was welcomed by The staff Monday Keith and the team made me feel comfortable. This is an absolutely wonderful true five star facility, very clean, beautiful environment and everybody is wonderful they work hard and have compassion in the care they provide. Last but not least the food is good and therapists are AMAZING they changed my life when I arrived to Mountain Manor I was unable to walk and now I’m able to walk 200 feet! Isn’t that remarkable?! I’m looking forward to going home but want to express my sincere gratitude for all Mountain Manor has done for me. <3 Henri
