Thank you to Annette at Mointain Laurel Physical Therapy. My BPPV was interfering with my lifestyle and with Annette’s help, I am getting better and can do more of the activities that I enjoy. Presently, Annette is working with me to improve my walking and strengthening my core. With hard work and practicing my exercises, I will be able to walk upright without swaying back and forth. I am so grateful to Annette! The staff is awesome and so encouraging plus you can exercise in the gym while you wait! The staff will work with you and your insurance to help you to become better physically. I am a personal trainer and educator who enjoys an active lifestyle as well as helping others to live a healthy lifestyle. Many thanks to Mountain Laurel Physical Therapy for giving me the full life that I want to enjoy!

Utilizing physical therapy services at Mountain Laurel has been an amazing experience. Annette and Mo are both so kind, personable, and compassionate. Their expertise within the field of vestibular rehab is unmatched. I was referred to their clinic for PPPD after having inner ear testing completed locally. Even as an occupational therapist myself, I was unaware of the condition and knew very little with regards to treatment. Annette has taught me more than I could have imagined and has helped me to feel more hopeful about reducing my symptoms and managing life with chronic dizziness. The entire staff is kind, personable, and flexible. I can’t say enough about how fortunate the greater Des Moines area is to have access to such personalized and specialized care. Highly recommended!

Mo was wonderful! She helped with my vertigo and understood the root of my balance issues. She also helped me with my neck issues. She treated me individually for my specific needs. And I appreciated that she shared a lot of details on my issues and how to resolve them. Definitely 5 star service!

I am a resident at an independent Living facility, Brio of Johnston. Annette Smith of Mountain Laurel gave a presentation of her work as a physical therapist and touched on the subject of inner ear issues. At the time I was experiencing such probably from a fall I had last summer. Through her work with me over a couple of weeks my issues have been resolved. She is very patient working with an old goat like me (89) and certainly knowledgeable in her profession. Well, I'm back again now age 90 but having vertigo issues without known cause. Annette and her staff have brought me back to my normal stability with expert work and advise if other issues are involved. Well done. J. W. Jordan

I really had a great experience with Annette! She is excellent specialist in PT, very knowledgeable and caring. She listens to your need and creates a treatment plan based on your needs. I feel much better, much less pain and I can enjoy my favorite exercise again! Great thanks to my PT!!!! She is using manual therapy a lot, dry needling and capping too! The best PT I have ever had!!!

Annette and Mo were excellent for me whenever I needed help with my vertigo. I would recommend them to anyone who has issues with any type of dizziness and/ or balance problems. I developed quite suddenly, an auditory and balance issue 2 months ago. This really disrupted my life, and they both were so supportive. As I had tests done and they knew more, Annette and Mo kept adapting to what would help me. I am fully back to myself, pre-crisis. I know my vertigo will be back, and Mountain Laurel is where I will go for fast relief.
