Mountain Land Physical Therapy - Santaquin

My son went here for a shoulder issue and needed to rehab it. Never having been here before, we were skeptical. This office was super awesome and has been so supportive. They always lend advice when needed and continue to support him with any of his physical therapy needs. He’s a high school athlete and this has been a great experience and we would recommend anyone who is needing PT to seek them out. Kris was phenomenal and has been a huge blessing. Also, Merenci was super nice. Don’t forget the front desk staff that’s always going the extra mile in so many ways for their patients! Love, love, love this office!

From day 1 Mountainland provided me with the best care. Every staff member from the receptionists, to the techs, to the therapists made my experience amazing. They work as a team to find treatments that best suit your situation and treat you like family. This is the best place to come. You will not regret it.

Called too get in hoping this time would be different from Salem mountainland communication and follow up care were. They said they would give me a week from therapy to see if things settled down and forgot to call back twice. Well fast forward to now. I called and the receptionist had to talk to therapist which I totally understand but after 2 weeks they should have followed up with me too get me scheduled or something. I called Intermountain Healthcare physical therapy and had an appointment within 2 minutes. I can see which business wants help the most people. Update: talked with Andrew and had a good discussion about problems that I've had. I said I would give them another chance to earn my business on a future therapy need.

PT was great, my issue is with transparency. When they called on my referral the soonest I could be seen was 4 weeks out. I wasn't sure if they could help my issue so I wanted to know a ballpark as to price, to see if I even wanted to keep the appointment. The website has no info on self pay prices so I called. They said they needed to call my insurance, I asked for the self pay price because I had I high deductible plan and they wouldn't give it. Said it was variable. I asked for a ballpark figure and said they can't tell me anything untill they contacted my insurance. I called the following week and she said to call back next week, so I did. They still hadn't reached out to insurance after 3.5 weeks and didn't give me any sort of price work up at that point. I should of cancelled at that point as I was about 85% recovered from 4 weeks prior. I figured the cost wouldn't be too surprising haha but it was close to 300 yikes. (And that was with my insurance discount which took off about half) Anyways they definitely didn't adhere to the "no surprises act" they mention on their website, despite my efforts.

This review is very overdue. Almost 2 years ago in August of 2022 I experienced a serious medical emergency called cauda equina syndrome. My very serious symptoms were completely missed by the pain management doctor I went to and it wasn’t until I saw Dr. Mitchell that the alarm bells started ringing. Dr. Mitchell listened to me and took my symptoms seriously. Without him, I would’ve likely ended up paralyzed or could’ve even lost my life. .

I went to Merenci for pelvic floor therapy which tends to be a somewhat intimidating experience. However, all of the staff were SO kind and made me feel so comfortable, and Merenci herself was absolutely incredible. She was so kind, enthusiastic, respectful, and she did an amazing job explaining everything to me really thoroughly and clearly and she made me feel so comfortable. She also celebrated all of my tiny victories and made me feel so empowered in a situation I would’ve tended to feel embarrassed in. You can tell she loves her job and she is absolutely the perfect person to do it. She made what could have been a scary experience into a surprisingly pleasant one and I am SO thankful I was referred to her, and I’m so excited to continue working with her. Truly a remarkable experience.

Kudos to the entire staff!!!! Cris is an absolute super star!!!! Her kindness and amazing energy is phenomenal. I sincerely appreciate the staff for being considerate and being extremely attentive and assertive to my overall physical health. Cris you're an absolute angel. Thank you

My experience at Mountain Land Physical Therapy was excellent. Each person there was knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. I made great strides at Mountain Land Physical Therapy. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy.
