Since we are traveling, this gym offered us an excellent one-month rate with no sign-up fee. It is clean, well-kept, and a nice place to work out. They also have massages available and fitness classes to meet your needs! We look forward to working out in this gym every day!

We visited both Mountain Fitness locations in Mount Shasta, the staff at both were extremely friendly and helpful! We were stopping in for a day pass during our travels which was very convenient. We appreciate that they provide this service for travelers. We're on the road for extended periods so having a place to work out, use the jacuzzi, and shower is quite helpful. Some areas could use a little updating but we would highly recommend Mountain Fitness. Their rates seem very reasonable.

Awesome place. I forgot my phone there and they were helpful with me getting it back. Facilities are amazing and so are the classes.

For the context - small town in the mountains far from any big cities - this is a 5 star gym. They’ve got all the weights you could possibly need for a great workout. They even have a pool, a sauna, and a locker room with showers. $10 for a day pass. Well worth it. *I worked out Sunday morning and had the whole place to myself until about 9:30am when a few other people came in.

Good spot and plenty of machines of all kinds for a relatively small town

Pros: Lots of variety, and a good value compared to city gyms. Cons: Half of the Aerobic machines are broken, no classes after 6 pm, almost no weekend classes, have never seen anything cleaned, very dirty and old atmosphere. Lack of yoga props and yucky mats, Upside is the Lassen location is much nicer and has a pool.

There is a great assortment of free weights and benches as well as great strength training machines. The lap pool is very nice and I also enjoy the sauna. There are some good aerobic machines as well.

Five stars for me. The facilities are older and worn, but they've done a lot with what they have. Can get full during rush hour, hut they're open super late if you're a night owl. Lots of great facilities. Check out the pool, sauna, tanning bed and new massage table. There's even a play area for kids to wait in.
