Moundville Health and Rehabilitation, LLC

My mom is a current resident at Moundville Health and Rehab. She has been there 6 months and it is best decision we made in making it her new home at this stage of her life. Everyone has been so wonderful and it has made the adjustment so much easier for her and our family. We do not worry about her there, she is well taken care of by every member of the staff. Every staff member is friendly and willing to help with anything that she needs. Thanks Moundville Health and Rehab for allowing her to be part of your family.

I have been impressed with MHR since our first visit. The facility is clean, busy yet very organized, and does NOT have the odor many other like facilities have. Their staff is personable, helpful, professional, and well trained. The administrative staff has been extremely helpful and kind. Our resident is 99 years old. We live several states away and need to depend on good communication, a good response time, and genuine care for her without our being on site frequently. The medical staff works diligently to provide careful observation and quality care. We visited several facilities in the Tuscaloosa area before we committed to Moundville Health and Rehabilitation. Not one compared more favorably. I would recommend MHR without reservation.

Great place to be taken care of. All staff are professional, pleasant. The staff cares and takes time out to individually know each person and their likes and dislikes and makes them feel comfortable in their new living situation. Marie, on evening shift, is the absolute best, and gives the most wonderful showers ever. She and a lot of the other staff have been there many years and it shows in how well care is given.

The staff at Moundville Health and Rehab is the BEST! My mother-in-law has the best care we could ask for. She enjoys being there. She is well taken care of. The staff go above and beyond what is needed and me and my family are grateful for that.

My mom has been at Moundville Health and Rehab since April of 2023. We have been in other facilities for rehab but glad Moundville is her permanent home. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and like family to my mom. They communicate with me and very accommodating of family! We have had no issues and I absolutely have peace of mind because I know she’s in the best place!!!!!

My mom and dad were there this year. The entire staff goes over and beyond to make sure your loved ones get the best care. We were fortunate to get my dad moved from another facility in Tuscaloosa that wasn’t a reputable place. This facility is the best !

The entire staff has been nothing short of wonderful! My dad is a resident at MHR and has some unique needs. I have been amazed at the personalized care and attention he has been receiving. Kia is his primary caregiver and there are no words to express my gratitude to her. Having an aging parent is a new experience for me. Knowing that she, along with a great staff, is looking out for him provides great peace of mind.

My dad has been a resident at MHR for almost 6 years, and the administration and staff are great. There is no other nursing home we would even consider putting him in. They always notify us if his medication is changed or if there is any change in his health. Our community is blessed to have MHR!
