Motion PT - Danbury Occupational Therapy

I went to PT Motion for an issue with my hands cramping up and hurting. The Doctor suggested that the only option was an Operation. At PT Motion, Aparna checked me out, showed me how she had had a similar problem that she overcame with exercise. She showed me the exercise, gave me a handout that talked to the exercises. I was told that I did not need to return for more sessions and that the key was my doing the exercises regularly. Highly impressed by the professional way tge session was conducted

I have been to multiple physical therapy places in the past. But this one is the best. Two weeks post ulnar shortening osteotomy I started my occupational therapy in Danbury Hand Therapy Associates. The therapists, assistances and receptionists are nice polite patient and caring. The office has great atmosphere which makes you feel welcoming. I find myself looking forward to attending each session. My therapist, Aparna Mudholkar has over 30 years experience in the field. She is passionate on her profession. She is fun and encouraging. She makes you laugh and works you hard. She never rush through each session. I was barely able to move my fingers when I came to her. After three weeks therapy I can move my fingers freely and also get more than 80% range of motion back on my wrist. My surgeon was very impressed with my progress. Strengthening training is the next step for me. Thank you Aparna and thank you Hand Therapy Associates for providing wonderful care to me and other patients. I am very lucky having you for my care. Hand center. Best staff ever all around. The therapists are top notch. Recommend highly!!

Beautiful, very large facility. From the moment I walked in until my final session ended I was treated with friendly, professional and experienced people. There wasn't a time when I was left sitting or standing alone not knowing what was going to happen next. There wasn't a lot of noise, and it didn't feel crowded. My physical therapist was extremely sensitive, supportive and helpful . The front desk was staffed with incredibly professional people. I highly recommend this group!

David Jewell is excellent P.T. instructor has helped me with shoulder issues , with daily exercise methods as well as valuable information regarding my shoulder issue. i feel like i am in good hands with his professional, pleasant personality and positive attitude. i would recommend him as well MOTION PT Group to everyone. Jennifer, Physical Therapist Jennifer has provided excellent care following my extensive shoulder surgery. She gives me confidence that allows greater mobility to be achieved under her care - she understands the complexities of debilitating shoulder pain - I trust her totally! My session with her was perfect! I hope to schedule with her as many appts as is possible. She worked with me in the afternoon after my morning PT assistant,,a male, called in sick for my 8:30AM. Staff at front desk, Kerry & Dawn are most helpful! Kerry even helped me with ladies room automatic faucet - very nice reception each visit. I gave MOTION an overall “5 Star Rating” since Jennifer is truly wonderful! I make progress under her guidance.
