My mom recently had to go here after breaking her hip and she also has copd. She didn’t get her medicine the first day nor a walker and her BiPap machine was not hooked up like we were told it would be. I’m not sure how she was supposed to get better with this type of care. One day she received the incorrect amount of medicine it made her feel awful the whole day. Some of the people are super sweet and clearly in the right career but we got a lot of I don’t knows when we asked questions from others and they were rude. Take a second to think if I was in this position how I would like to be treated or what if this was my mom. My mom was scared being thrown into a new place and some of the people were just not understanding, caring or helpful. I appreciate the kind ones that took care of my scared mom. You are very appreciated and physical therapy people were great.

Residents are not well cared for. They are understaffed therefore staff is overworked, some are grouchy, some don't seem to care. Mistakes are made concerning transportation to doctor appointments making Residents miss appointments. They do not have anyone to answer phones most of the time. The automated system is hard to use and frustrating. They have been ignoring my mother's rights and given preferential treatment to her roommate repeatedly and for months. The food they serve is terrible in taste and in looks. Mom says she would be ashamed to feed it to a dog.

They proved today what I thought a few years ago when they discharged my mother too early. They could not care less about the people in their care. They told us to file an appeal about the discharge. So we did. Now since my mother needs rehab again they will not take her because we did what they told us to do. Once again leaving a senior to care for a senior with no help. I would not recommend this place for rehab simply for the fact that the administration could not care less about the patients! Owner: That is.not what nurse told me. She told me Tina went to anagement and they made the decision mom was not allowed back.

Physical therapy is the worst you can imagine. My father stayed here for 33 days after hip surgery and still couldn’t walk. With proper PT at home, I had him walking in 9 days with a walker. I believe they didn’t think a 90 year old man could move like a 70 year old. It was age discrimination at its best. They didn’t imagine someone his age was so active but he is and that’s how he fell in the first place. I talked to the nurses every evening but the PT people wouldn’t speak to me and now I know why. He couldn’t sit up, stand, or move at all without help. I’ve had him 2 weeks now and he’s progressing wonderfully! Don’t send anyone you know here, especially during a pandemic!!!
