What a wonderful place! The people that work here are amazing and give 100% effort every time I am here with my handicapped sister. Trisha is so helpful and kind and all the workers are so compassionate and motivating to the swimmers. The pool is clean, the locker room is clean and the showers are amazing. I feel privileged to be able to bring my sister here to receive such quality aquatic therapy! Thank you so much! I look forward to every visit!

This organization is amazing. They are confident and have a great design for curriculum when it comes to improving skills. Triss is knowledgeable, encouraging, motivating and has made my child improve so much. My child has worked with numerous different instructors at this location and all have been so helpful. Tristan helped her form the beginning foundations for swim safety and swimming which was built upon by Irving and his sing songy tone and instruction that helped my child learn to follow instructions. Now Triss is taking this further and my kid is swimming across the pool because she has been taught so much and feels so safe with this group. They are fantastic when it comes to keeping my kids safe and providing education and advice to us as parents in ways to keep her safe in water and keep improving. It is very obvious how helpful this program is for my child. My child is on the Autism spectrum and because of Monterey Aquatic Therapy Center we not only have noticed her improving when it comes to water safety but in all other aspects of her development to. I wish there were more organizations like this one. Absolutely love Monterey aquatic therapy center and absolutely recommend it. 11 out of 10.

Monterey Aquatic Therapy Center has been absolutely amazing for our 5 year old son. He has always loved the water and he wants to be a surfer when he grows up, but he was hesitant to put his head under water and he wasn't able to swim yet. We enrolled him in swimming lessons here because we heard they were the best and we are having the most amazing experience! The focused, one on one care is exactly what our son needed to overcome his fears and love being in and under water. Trisha, the owner, is great and she hires only the best teachers. The program is well organized and she goes over the goals and his progress with us to help keep our little minnow on track for success! Thank you MATC!

I signed up both my daughters (ages 4 and 7) for swim instruction at this facility. It was a best decision I could make for their water safety! Starting out, my 4 year old was afraid to put her face in the water, but fast forward four sessions later....she was kicking her feet, head down in the water and "ice cream scooping" the water with her hands to swim across the width of the pool.....THEN flipping over to her back to take a big breath...AND then flipping back over to continue swimming. Trisha and her staff are simply amazing. They are endlessly patient, gentle with their instruction, no pressure, and so incredibly supportive. I can't recommend this facility enough if you are looking for swim instruction.

My son was terrified of the water and went from not knowing how to swim at age 9 (refusing to submerge head) to learning how to dive in a matter of 3 short months. This center is nothing short of amazing. Trisha and her team of teachers use a method that is evidence-based and highly effective. My kids love swimming and won’t stop asking to go for lessons. This is truly a remarkable resource for families. THANK YOU!!!

Beautiful team of instructors who are kind, patient and mindful to special needs adults/children. Love this place for my adult son who is non-verbal with autism. His whole life he never put his head under water or knew how to blow bubbles or wear goggles. He is doing all of that within the first two months of lessons. Incredible! A very special place.

I’m not quite sure where to begin with this amazing journey. It has been over a year that I “wheeled” up to Trisha’s door having been badly injured by a speeding car. My legs were severely damaged along with my pelvis, ribs, shoulder and skull. Over the last year I worked specifically with Trisha each week on many areas of rehabilitation. My legs and pelvis were rebuilt with titanium and the other parts have been healing relatively well. The pool therapy has been remarkable in all this healing and Trisha’s hard, consistent work continues to pay off. I am very grateful for her expertise and friendship. The community is truly enriched by both Trisha and her staff and I have been blessed and enriched by their commitment and dedication. I am very fortunate and grateful to have been part of Monterey Aquatic Therapy. Thank you!

My daughter has processing challenges and a fear of water, however after only 4 lessons with Trisha she was willingly going under water and jumping in! Nothing short of a miracle!! We've tried the YMCA, and private lessons throughout the peninsula with no luck. They were not able to adapt their teaching style for a kid that learns differently. I had almost given up. I am so happy her OT teacher recommended Monterey Aquatic! Trisha uses the "Swim Angelfish" style which is perfect for my daughter. That in combination with Trisha's kind and patient disposition and the warm pool makes this the best possible lesson for any reluctant swimmer!
