MLee Therapy

We love MLee! The gym is awesome and my son looks forward to coming here. The two therapists we have worked with, Ashleigh and Brittany, have been fantastic- thorough, patient, and skilled.

We love MLee! All the therapists are professional, knowledgeable, energetic, enthusiastic, and great with kids. The practice is well organized and well run. With the help of the therapists at MLee, both my kids have been successful in overcoming their speech challenges. Highly recommend!

The team at MLee is outstanding! They have taken my youngest daughter who has SPD, Autism and severe speech delays, from not talking to talking. The OT therapists are always willing to help you with at home exercises to enhance their work. Marcus, the owner, takes great care of EVERY patient that comes into his facility. I HIGHLY recommend bringing your therapy needs to MLee, you won’t be disappointed.

MLee is absolutely amazing! Marcus, the owner, clearly cares about the children and families he works with. He listens to parents and utilizes the information to provide to the best treatment possible and look at the whole child. I give him and his staff full credit for my child talking. The PROMPT method for speech worked wonders and I wish we would have started earlier. For us, it was so much more effective than traditional speech therapy. The OTs at MLee are knowledgeable about a wide variety of tools and techniques to help children reach their full potential. I give them 10 starts and cannot recommend them enough!

My 3-year-old son has been going to MLee therapy for speech and occupational therapy for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier with our experience there. The owner, office assistant, and therapists are some of the most wonderful, caring people I have ever met. They devote themselves whole-heartedly to each and every family they help. Over the course of the past year, my son has blossomed from a shy and anxious non-verbal boy who was afraid to leave my side to a highly personable chatterbox who greets everyone he meets, thanks to the hard work and dedication of his therapists. The MLee staff as well as the wonderful parents I have met while there have become like family to me, which makes my son's incredible progress bittersweet. I look forward to the day when my son no longer needs therapy with mixed feelings of elation and sadness at the prospect of not seeing these people who have become so dear to us on a regular basis, but I know that they will remain lifelong friends. I encourage any parent whose child needs speech or occupational therapy to call MLee. As far as I am concerned they are the ONLY therapy clinic in Austin.

My 2-2.5 yr old daughter has been seeing Janel for a couple months now and she has already made such a drastic speech improvement - or really a full mind/body improvement. Palmer was already very social and outgoing before attending Mlee, but she couldn’t focus on one task for more than 20 seconds (literally) before moving onto the next toy/task/room/game/whatever. Her attention span and her entire thought process of starting something and finishing it has significantly improved in such a short amount of time. Her speech is starting to follow as well (which was our initial concern and reason for starting at Mlee). I notice a little improvement after each session and I can tell Palmer feels the difference in her interaction with others. Every therapist we have encountered has been very nice and caring, but Palmer has only seen Janel for her sessions. We love Ms. Janel! Palmer even asks for her now on non-speech therapy days and she starts cheering as soon as we turn into the parking lot of Mlee. She also is very excited to see Janel and give her a hug as soon as she sees her! I can’t wait to see how much she grows in the next couple months with the help of Ms. Janel!

We began our journey with MLee when our son was 18 mos old. He wasn't speaking as many words as he was supposed to be, so we knew we needed to get outside help. Our pediatrician recommended MLee, so we booked an appointment and never looked back. During our time at MLee, our son received therapy from both Marcus and Janel for a significant speech delay. Some would call them experts, some would call them skilled, others would call them qualified and seasoned beyond their years. What my family calls them? Game-changers. We didn't know what to expect from the whole process, but Marcus and Janel were our dream team. They worked so hard helping our boy, and now he's in kindergarten and talking VERY well. That gigantic speech gap we thought we would never overcome now is a memory (one we are happy to forget), and this is largely due to the diligence, patience, and resolve of two SLP badasses. I don't pretend to know all that they do, but they own their craft. The office itself is super inviting. We started when Olivia (who now is a speech therapist there) was the office administrator and she was always a pleasure to work with. Currently Anna-Spencer is at the helm and she couldn't be nicer or more on it. Frankly, everyone we came into contact with was so nice and welcoming. We are now done with speech therapy, and to be honest, we feel like we've lost a part of our family. These people were such integral parts of our child's life, that it's hard to not see them every week. We hope that others choose this marvelous place of business; it will be a choice that you won't ever regret.
