Writing this review to bring attention to one of the techs who work at this location. Roma K. should be looked into. She is extremely unprofessional and rude. She obviously has some sort of anger or mental issues that need to be looked into before she can continue working in this type of job. You know, the job where you help people and care about individuals? She needs to work at the vet if she gonna treat people like dogs. She treated my girlfriend extremely nasty especially. This was the second cvs i came to for my flu shot so i didn't have an appointment. I went to the screen to make one and luckily they had an appointment for 12:10pm. Once i put all my information in and made the appointment, i headed to the bathroom at 12:05pm. Roma K comes out and calls my name. My girlfriend calls me over because she knew i was heading to the bathroom. Roma is already upset and triggered and goes on about how people shouldn't check in and leave. She was sarcastic, unprofessional, and annoyed. Its important to add this is all within 10 seconds of meeting her. My girlfriend is not rude, but kindly stands up for me and says the situation. Roma did not like that and continued to go on about people shouldn't check in and walk away. In front of us she even said a patients real name who she would not take. From this point, i could tell she was an angry person, easily triggered and maybe didn't fully develop as a child. However, i still remained patient because as a normal person with common understanding, i thought she might just being going through something. So i continued the appointment and Koma, my girl friend and me went into room. This is when the tech went over the line and got upset again! Instead of her noticing her fault and being rude (and us obviously uncomfortable) she proceeds to make it worse. I sat on the red chair in the room. It looks like a chair for a guest who comes along with patient. My girlfriend proceeds to ask me if i should sit on the doctor bed instead. I was innocently curious if i should go there and my girl friend too. My girlfriend was not being rude or insulting her work. Koma decides to get mad at her and she tells her something along the lines of - is this your office or mine? - it was so nasty and condescending. It was unnecessary. My girlfriend tried to stand up for herself slightly by saying she was trying to help and asking what is wrong but Koma got more triggered and ending up kicking her out of the room. I have a problem with needles (i get light headed, sometimes even throw up or black out) so it was important my girlfriend stay and help me so it was just unfortunate. Koma is extremely mean and asks my gf what she would even help with or do if something goes wrong. She made my girlfriend feel less than her by commenting on how she could even help - trying to make my girlfriend feel stupid. It was a deliberate act from Koma and she purposely tries to make people feel small. After my gf left the room, she made me so uncomfortable as well. Talking down on my girl and saying "i could be her mom." It's funny because she acts like a child. Overall, I expect maturity, patience, and empathy from nurse techs. While I love CVS, KOMA K. needs to be looked into. She obviously isn't doing well with her work or something in her personal life.

I scheduled a “TB Test” for myself here. After checking in, the LVN quickly called my name and asked for my ID and insurance card. She asked if I was here for a TB skin test, and I replied, “No, I’m here for a quantiferon.” She responds that I am scheduled for a TB skin test and that the quantiferon has to be done by the NP. I tell her there was no differentiation when scheduling myself for the appointment. She begins to condescendingly explain to me that the quantiferon is a blood draw and that it is different than the skin test in several ways. I am well aware of the difference as I am an RN. My issue comes from her negative manner and terrible customer service. I recently visited a CVS minute clinic at a different location the same way and was given zero issues and zero attitude. I was unable to complete the blood draw due to issues pulling up my insurance, and the providers were extremely understanding and kind. This middle aged blonde Karen at this location unnecessarily gave me a difficult time and a huge attitude. I tried to come to this location because it was slightly closer to where I live, but I decided to drive back to the minuteclinic I originally visited. The sheer difference in the providers’ attitudes is astonishing. The other clinic was friendly and accommodating vs patronizing and condescending. Never will I ever return to this clinic due to the chance of being under the care of this rude Karen.

i had the worst experience here (love cvs but costumer service wise) i went to minute clinic with my boyfriend since he had to get his flu shot. keep in mind, he has problem with needles. he gets really light headed and sometimes even throws up. ROMA K. gave him his flu shot and she was extremely rude from the beginning. my boyfriend is from brazil so sometimes i speak up for him. she got upset with him because he checked in then headed to the bathroom. she gave him attitude so i just calmly explained it checked him in automatically. she continued to cuss and complain about people checking in and walking away. i understand that can be frustrating (she probably deals with that a lot) but it was so unprofessional and rude. next, we go into the room and my boyfriend sits on the red chair provided. i was directly talking to my boyfriend and i kindly told him "i think ur supposed to sit there" i was just pointing to that elevated sitting part they have at all doctor appointments. my boyfriend then asks Roma if he should sit there just out of curiosity. she responds "no" then looks at me and says "is this your office or mine?" in a super rude tone. i was caught off guard and said "no im just trying to help." she's obviously a really angry human being so i didn't know if i should stand up or keep quiet because she's pretty immature for her age i don't know if she was going to turn down his appointment. so all i say "what is ur problem?" i tell her. she gets set off and kicks me out of the room. keep in mind up to this point i've done nothing wrong. im literally being a normal costumer. she's been upset the second she came out. it seems like she doesn't even enjoy her job and shouldn't be taking care of patients. Roma K has zero empathy for people and she should genuinely lose her job or find a new career path. if you could, i would go to the other tech instead. she was extremely nice to me. her name is Nikita. however, for Roma, she is extremely nasty. i explained i have to stay in the room because of his problem with needles and she basically called me stupid by saying "and what could you do for him?". if CVS minute clinic can look into her, i bet she's done this to more than once because she was already sour before i talked to her even once. also, my boyfriend says after i left the room she started to talk bad about me saying she could be my mom etc. he said he felt extremely uncomfortable and it was just SO unprofessional.

The most unprofessional and rude tech I’ve ever met. I’m not sure how she made it this far into PATIENT CARE when she is the most overtly passive and dismissive care coordinator i’ve ever met. I made my appointment, got a text message the day of asking me to confirm, I follow instructions then get an immediate response that cvs is having technical difficulties. Then I show up to my appointment (WITHIN THE 10 MINUTE GRACE) and again respond to the cvs auto text confirming my appointment and this time i get a response saying im confirmed. I waited there for almost 20 minutes and there is no one there. Theres not even any direction on where to sit or how to check in. I see a kiosk and assume that I check in there and I try to but the kiosk says they cant verify my confirmation code (the same exact code I just received from cvs - gotta love technology). I start getting frustration that I’m not getting any help so i get some assistance from the cvs cashiers and FINALLY the nurse tech comes out of the patient room she was hiding out in and off the bat has major attitude.. she claims she was out in the waiting room this whole time which is a BOLD FACED LIE bc I WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM and never saw her come out once. Then she starts trying to blame me and says apparently shes too busy to see me because she has calls to make and that the best she can do is reschedule me. I tell her I drove THIRTY minutes to come to this appointment and i kid you not she SHRUGS HER SHOULDERS basically implying ‘too bad so sad theres nothing i can do’. Its really insane how much of a sh*t show patient care, urgent care, the whole system is. Minute clinic should be embarrassed to have someone so low class like her working for them. I’ve never been seen by minute clinic and now never will :)

I had a great experience at this minute clinic, specifically with Anna (pronounced Anya)!! I came in with a UTI and realized you couldn’t make an appointment at the time, and Anna was so sweet and squeezed me in last minute. I got antibiotics and my pee tested and I felt incredibly taken care of. Thank you soooo much Anna- you are an angel 🥺

Visited for a non-covid-related immunization. The visit was fantastic, the nurse (I believe named Terri) was friendly and very professional. However, their billing system is flawed. They failed to communicate with my insurance properly, and after a number of hours calling back and forth on their behalf, I ended up paying the bill myself, despite the service being fully covered under my insurance. Contacting their billing department means calling a centralized phone system, and while some of the staff are friendly, others seem to be trying their best to be unhelpful. After paying the bill, I haven't even received a receipt, and the bills have no tax number so I can't submit a claim with my insurance myself to be reimbursed. I don't want to call their billing department again after how unhelpful they have been so far. To top it off, the same service would have cost me $60 less if I had visited the private Urgent Care centre within walking distance from my house. I only visited Minute Clinic because I was under the assumption that such a large organisation would be able to correctly bill my insurance, whereas I know the private UC do not accept my insurance. Next time I'll go to them and save myself the $60-$145 and ~3h of time and effort.

I made an appointment for today. Upon my arrival, they let me know I would have to pay out of pocket & then get reimbursed by my insurance. I have Anthem & they said they were having troubles with their claims, which is why I would have to pay out of pocket. I can’t afford to pay out of pocket & get reimbursed later. This is something they should post on their website before people make appointments. I made an appointment, drove over here… only to still be in physical pain. This information should be shared with patients FIRST. Not as they’re trying to be seen.

Brought my teen here for a Sports Physical since she needed one before the year was up & insurance wouldn't cover a second. Service wasn't exactly warm & friendly, and they didn't bother fixing her name on the paperwork (it was wrong due to an autofill mistake). BUT, the attending nurse refused to clear her because he claimed that her heart beat was erratic and would go faster & slower. Well, my understanding is that the heart will do it. He recommended an EKG, which definitely didn't help her to relax so she could recheck. She freaked out, and we ended up at the Pediatrician a couple of days later who was experienced enough to realize that she was fine. Just got the bill for that for $400...on top of having to pay the $69 physical fee. While I am glad CVS takes these things seriously (2 stars for that), their staff clearly doesn't have the skill/expertise that makes this a viable alternative & can cause needless worry, time, and expense.
