Milestone Pediatrics

My child had been going to this practice for 2 years or so, in that time he went through 3 different therapist assistants, he was only evaluated once through this entire time and even though we requested another evaluation it went nowhere as it became such an annoying process and jumping through hoops to get this to happen- which it never did by the way. He made a lot of improvement but every time he got a new therapist, it was like starting from the beginning as they each had their own style of working with him. I always felt there was more that could have been done to increase his progress. Towards January we decided to get him OT and the process took a while to get started, everything from the initial referral, to the billing area, to the actual evaluation was such a tedious and exhausting process. It always felt that this group, the provider, and insurance company do not communicate well, and if things needed to get done I had to get involved and do the communicating between all of us. Lastly, my son did get evaluated for OT, he did start going but then the whole pandemic occurred and the clinic was shut down. I understand and appreciate them closing, but parents were never advised or given any extra resources so that we could help our children during this period of time, so whatever progress your child might have had, they just lost it or regressed because this group failed to ask us parents how they could help us. We were never given updates, except their emails that were very bland on information and what the plan on the clinic was going forward, and now we come to find out that the clinic is throwing out contracts with multiple insurances leaving those of us without services for our children. The billing is awful and clearly do not know how to handle insurances, we have tricare and it has been an issue to process our claims from the very beginning. Overall, it was a good place to receive services, horrible horrible when it came to management and billing- they’re very desorganizad and it clearly shows that there is some office issue going on. I hope your group looses a lot of clients because the whole way you have handled this situation was so unprofessional and negligent that at the end the only ones that end up hurt are the children receiving the services they very much need. Shame on you guys for how you have proceeded with this entire process.

We loved our therapist Paula and everyone in the office was nice. When COVID happened and the office shut down we lost our spot we had because we couldn't do virtual therapy because of our insurance. I didn't like the way this was handled and then we received an email stating they no longer accepted our insurance. The billing department does not have it together and was sending me bills without even billing my insurance. This was after we were told that we no longer had a co pay as well. When I finally got someone to call me back they claimed they sent the claims with the wrong dates (even though there was nothing sent to my insurance with the "wrong dates"). Again loved the people in the office but the company as a whole is sketchy dot me.

My son recieves speech therapy and has been a patient since July 2019. I have had an excellent experience with this practice considering he receives services through DDD. Everyone has always been efficient and reliable even through Covid. Since he started, his speech has improved dramatically. Huge shout out to Susan and Adys! Both are amazing and work together to provide the best service possible. 🖤 The sensory room is amazing!!
