My heart is so grateful to the whole team at Middletown Animal hospital. My beloved Big Dog came through surgery great, again! Their care is phenomenal. He even enjoyed lolling in the lap of a lovely vet tech as she combed his fur! Of course my handsome charmer made surgery into a spa day instead! They shared such nice things about him too. Above and beyond the excellent surgery. Im just so grateful! They've been helping me care for my dogs and cat for many years now. I drive an hour for that, because it's worth it.

Middletown Animal Hospital is Amazing! I’ve lived in Lake County for over 20 years and have taken all of my pets to Wasson at which at this time they were not able to get me in until February. No waitlist for cancellations, taking pets on an emergency, double the cost. Middletown Animal Hospital had a cancellation and within several days my Loki received the antibiotics that she needed and everyone there that helped her was amazing! God Bless and Thank You.

- I really appreciate Dr. Knowles' (sp) experience and analytical approach with my Westie. She doesn't seem to be in a hurry, just wants to get to the bottom of his problem, whatever it is, and fix it properly. - The vet techs I've worked with are very helpful and just nice people. They listen! - The office manager went way beyond what she needed to do customer service-wise for my Westie. Won't go into detail here, but it was a huge help to me while I was on the East Coast. - Middletown Animal Clinic is not at all the closest vet clinic to me (by far!), but I keep going there because I've seen they are experts and they CARE. Thanks, y'all!

Breach of contract We have been clients for about ten years with our three dogs as we live close by, one has since passed. For thanksgiving week, we were flying to San Antonio to attend our son’s BMT Graduation and had arranged to board our dogs many weeks in advance. The Saturday before we were to fly out, two hours before the dogs were to be boarded, they canceled our reservation based on their perceived temperament of one of our dogs and their new staff not knowing our dogs. Rather sudden and abrupt timing on their part. Even worse because the management left it to the receptionist to call us with this information. We then only had hours to find a kennel during Thanksgiving week! Seriously horrible customer service experience and a breach of contract. They would not work with us or accept any responsibility for their failure to notify us in a timely manner. Zero reciprocation on their part for their incompetence accepting the reservation. If the boarding staff needed to “know” our dogs, they had weeks in advance to arrange something. Fortunately, Highland Springs Kennel had an opening. We now take are pups elsewhere.

I just read online that one of your vet techs Jennifer Neuhaus would not feed the boarding dogs their raw food that the owner brought. Because she's afraid to get salmonella? So that says to me 2 things - your LVT isn't washing their hands and not feeding the boarding dogs their dog food. Which could cause issues if they had allergies or underlying issues. Plus, she was quite rude to people online about their pets diet. I would be pretty upset if somebody I trusted with my animals was as rude as her and untrustworthy when it came to their diet. This is coming from another pet industry worker. I'm sure your clinic is amazing but this one person sure showing that she doesn't follow instructions

On Feb 1st I took my dog for appt due to a huge tumor on her breast was told they were unable to due surgery. She was given steroids and antibiotics to maybe help shrink the tumor only made it worse and bigger.Follow up appt.then was can do surgery for over 3000 dollars and no guarantees. Very disappointing with the service especially that they muzzel and tight collar her causing great distress! Was there for 2 hours for a 15 minute appt.just to get 5 pages of there rates for possible unaffordable surgery. Very sad I believe I'm done with that vet.

So the vet work here in general is ok. It seems the biggest issues are just organization and definitely an extreme lack of time management. After being told it would take 20 minutes to draw blood and run tests I have now been here for 3 hours and basically have had nothing taken care of except then telling me how much things will cost which is on the very high end for these procedures as well. I keep getting told to wait just a few minutes and each time another hour goes by. I'm glad I didn't do a drop off because I'm sure they would have just kept the dog most of the day to charge me even more without accomplishing much.
