Although North 7 made my soul ache and there were just a few nurses that weren’t happy to be there, the rest of the staff are amazing angels hidden in disguise. Thank you Dr. Castro and Holly, and the friendly nurses that went out of their way to make sure every patient got exactly what they needed, with a positive demeanor. You all went out of your way to understand each patient, and really listened to me. I have so much faith that the mental health field is changing for the better. So thank you so much <3

Thank you Dr. Ericson, Dr. Pratt, and Dr Bishop. Thank you to all the nurses who took such great care of my mother, Candace! Deanna, Heather, Lexi, Kelsey, Brittany, and the nurses names that I unfortunately do not remember! Oh and to the nurse my mom got colorful with when she was in the "syndowning" phase! My family and I are so grateful to you all! My mom is home now after almost six weeks of being at Middlesex hospital and Gaylord hospital. She is doing amazing! We are truly, truly greatful! If not for you all my mom wouldn't be back to her normal spicy self!❤️

Absolutely the worst! Won't feed me for the past 24 hrs. Have asked to have a nother Dr change my diet many times, won't even get the previous Dr that disagrees with this Dr. . Previous Dr. wanted me on regular diet. Now I haven't eaten in so long I'm, light headed, haven't slept since Thursday, night, starved and depressed so bad I've been crying. I'm in a walker will someone help walk me out. I have no pain at all left from surgery 4 days ago. Because two Drs disagree and change my care plan in mid stream, I lay here as my recent surgery begins to regress

Had a very severe nose bleed in my college dorm and an ambulance took me there. By the time I arrived I was close to fainting and was not seen until over 30 minutes later. They gave me Tylenol and with asking very limited questions advised to send me home. After expressing my intense migraine and dizziness I had to convince them to even give me iv fluids. They basically told me I would “be fine” even though I feel awful even after rest and more.

My recent experience at Middlesex Hospital was excellent. From the time I entered the Emergency Room until I was settled into a private room in the Emergency Room area was just 15 minutes. The nurses, techs and doctors were friendly, helpful and very professional. During my two day stay on floors 6N and 5N, the doctors, nurses, and techs were professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Special shout out to Doctor Sampt who was very thorough and even took the time to call my wife to update her on my condition. Can’t thank him enough. All in all a great experience. I have elective surgery scheduled in the near future and the surgery will definitely be performed at Middlesex. Thanks all.

My friend who is like a sister to me went here last night because she was severely dehydrated, couldn't keep water down, was vomiting, had nausea, had diarrhea, and was hallucinating due to the previous nausea medication this hospital gave her. She is obviously and severely sick, but they ignore all of her symptoms, lie on her chart about her symptoms, give her nausea medication after she specifically asked them not to [because she doesn't want more hallucinations] and tried to shove attivan on her and send her home. They outright ignored her request for bloodwork despite previous medical professionals requesting it, they said they needed to perform a cat scan on her then didn't give her one, tried to claim all the issues she had were because she was an "insomniac with anxiety." Samantha A. Holzman was one of the doctors. She was the one who filled out the information on my friend's paperwork in which there are several lies about her symptoms. Every single staff member who "treated" my friend yesterday is an embarrassment to all doctors. You are all scum who care more about getting patients out of your sight rather than caring about them actually getting better. Turns out that if patients don't get better, they have to go back to the hospital! Who knew! It's almost like actually treating their illnesses and doing your damn job would be more effective! Wow! Y'all suck and we're looking into reporting and filing a lawsuit.

The ER staff are great. The Middlesex staff after admission are incommunicative, heartless, and rigid, even when the patient has dementia and cannot advocate for themselves. The nurses refuse to give medical results over the phone, even to POAs, and the doctors don't bother calling you on your family members progress. Take your family members to a real hospital like Yale. Dear Middlesex, sometimes POAs are working during the day. Stop punishing concerned family members who work and phone them!

After waiting for four hours with my toddler, the doctor was in the room less than THREE MINUTES. Extremely dismissive, made a face when I told him I was worried my toddler had an infection in a cut. This same doctor treated my oldest child last year and was so dismissive. I would rather drive however long to another hospital than have my children treated by that Dr again.
