Dr. Carmellini is an outstanding physical therapist. I fractured my ankle and as a result I had my first experience with physical therapy. I had heard horror stories about experiences with PT (painful, not helpful, felt worse after), and I was apprehensive. After just the first visit Dr. Carmellini put my apprehension at rest. The approach of Dr. Carmellini is not to have PT painful. During my treatment Dr. Carmellini had my very best interest in mind. Now that I have healed and my sessions have completed, I am ready to hit the slopes for another ski season. There is no way I could have done it without the care of Dr. Carmellini.

Dr. Vincent Carmellini is an outstanding physical therapist. I had a full knee replacement and worked with him over a 12-week period. During this time, I experienced rapid improvement in my knee strength, ability to balance, reduction in swelling and pain, and flexibility. He answered my questions and explained how my brain interacts with my knee relearning spatial awareness. Best of all, he owns his practice. What this means is he places his patients first, provides the care they need to rehabilitate, and goes the extra mile to ensure top quality care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Vince Carmellini was fantastic. I went to him after minor knee surgery when I had limited mobility. He got me in full motion and running again in less than 8 weeks! Also, Ben makes scheduling easy and is always a pleasure to talk to!

My experience with Metropolitan Physical Therapy was great. I slipped in January and pulled something, after visiting my Dr. and x-rays and ultrasound they found nothing after a few more months I started having numbness and swelling in my left ankle and foot. A friend suggested I visit Vincent at MPT she was seeing him for a long-time problem with sciatic pain down the leg and his treatments seemed to really be helping. Long story short after listening to my story and my symptoms he explained what he felt the problem was and what he was going to do to treat it. After the first treatment I was amazed at the relief I felt it released the hip and 80% of the pain eased up I saw him for 2 more follow-up visits and things are greatly improved no more swelling or numbness in the foot I am not pain free, but Vincent did say it will take some time for everything to get healed up. Many thanks for his help. Sharon

Dr. Vince Carmellini did a great job of getting my left ankle back in shape after surgery to repair torn ligaments. I was having some crackling and crunching going on in my ankle joint after the surgery and he was able to work with me on some different strength and balance exercises to build up the muscles in my foot and leg and my ankle is feeling like its pre-injury self again. Thank you Dr. Carmellini!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Vince Carmellini. I had an inner ear problem that caused issues with balance. In the first visit, we had a diagnosis and treatment course, and in a short number of follow-up visits, my balance issues were fully resolved. He provides great explanations and made the visits fun.

I started with Dr. Carmellini having severe shoulder pain spasms and limited range. I ended with zero spasms and, I would say, 90% back to normal. As an added bonus, his therapies also resulted in releasing neck tensions I suffer from with herniated disk. I would recommend him to anyone needing an engaged, and results oriented therapist.

In March of 2022 I aggravated my surgically repaired left ankle after skiing. I had skied several days prior to this with no issues. I could barely walk and feared that I had re-injured myself. My original injury was an on the job injury and was treated surgically and rehabbed through work comp. who refused to allow me further treatment. I was referred to Dr. Vince Carmellini at Metropolitan Physical Therapy by my work comp. physical therapist who she had previously worked and attended PT school together. Vince was immediately reassuring that I had not re-injured my ankle but more likely broke loose scar tissue and irritated some cartilage. Over the course of the next 10 weeks Vince was able to get my ankle feeling better than it had before the aggravation. He, also, gave me advise and recommendations for continued strengthening to prevent an ACL injury. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone with a need for physical therapy give Vince a call. You will not regret it!
