Outstanding physical therapist! Great results. I thorougly researched options before my planned total knee replacement. I wanted a local, independent physical therapist that listened to me, got to really know me, and provided great outcomes. I highly recommend Dr. Carmellini! I ended up seeing him earlier and longer than expectedthough. I first had to recover from a broken upper arm so he rehabbed my shoulder to regain mobility and strength. Then 3 months of PT for my new knee! He understood the emotional toll the injuries / trauma had on me and worked patiently with me when I was frustrated or in pain. He encouraged me and cheered with each progressive step and victory. I'll see him again later this year while my husband is recovering from surgery (and I'll be chauffeur). A shout out to the office manager, Ben. He answered all my scheduling / billing questions and always made me feel welcome in the office.

I sprained my ankle over a year ago and it never completely healed, leaving me with constant pain and discomfort. That all changed when I started seeing Dr. Carmellini at Metropolitan Physical Therapy. Dr. Carmellini works miracles! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Carmellini's expertise and personalized approach to therapy were evident from our first session. He took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and develop a tailored treatment plan. The exercises and therapies he recommended were spot-on, and I began noticing significant improvements in just a few weeks.

I had a wonderful experience with Metropolitan Physical Therapy. Everyone in the entire office, from Vince to each of the staff, are very welcoming, professional, and extremely efficient. I was having trouble with my right knee and was referred to Vince for PT. I was worried the issue was insurmountable and that I'd have to get knee replacement surgery. After working with him for over 6 months, I'm happy to say surgery isn't in my immediate future. Should I ever have need of physical therapy again (whether for the knee or something else), I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this practice.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Vince. I had shoulder surgery in December and he walked me through each stage of the recovery period. I really appreciated the technical knowledge and explanation of the therapy process through studies, research, and years of experience. Dr. Vince is also an athlete and active person so I knew he understood how important it was to me to have full mobility and be able to enjoy all the things I like to do. The recovery exceeded my expectations and I am so glad to be back doing the things I enjoy most. Great team at Metropolitan!

I had a great experience at metropolitan physical therapy. Vince was knowledgeable and very patient in helping me work through back pain. He gave excellent treatment and the knowledge on how to prevent issues going forward. I would highly recommend treatment through metropolitan physical therapy!

I highly recommend Metropolitan PT. Dr. Vince did a great job getting my shoulder “back to normal” after I had injured it a couple times in the preceding 6 months. As an engineer I really appreciated that Dr. Vince started out by explaining the structure of the shoulder (he even broke out an anatomy book) and then he explained how over the next few months we would be working to strengthen the various muscle groups. And, that plan for recovery played out as he said it would. Dr. Vince had a manageable series of exercises which we used in the PT setting and which I tried to do daily at home. In our sessions he carefully critiqued my execution of those exercises to ensure that I was properly working the target muscles. Finally, Dr. Vince is also an interesting person to chat with, which made my two 30 minute per week PT sessions more enjoyable. So, the next time I need PT I’m definitely going back to Dr. Vince.

Vince worked with me and my severe “frozen” shoulder for over a year. He kept the therapy varied and interesting, and his objective assessments of progress kept me motivated to exercise consistently at home. His staff are friendly and accommodating. I’ve now regained full range of motion and am close to recovering strength— I’ve graduated from therapy, woo hoo! Would recommend to friends and family.

A little over a year ago I had surgery for severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both of my wrists. After the surgery my surgeon didn't feel I would need physical therapy and that normal use of my hands would get them back into working shape. After weeks of trying I developed trigger finger in both thumbs. Needless to say I needed help to get my hands working again. Thankfully I was able to see Vince at Metropolitan Physical Therapy. I knew about Vince because my wife was already one of his clients. She was a client with him for therapy after a knee replacement. I can't say enough positive things about Vince. Not only did he get both of my hands functioning normally again, he also worked on my shoulder that had been giving me problems. It now it feels great. Vince always listens to your needs and gives great suggestions for your home care. Unfortunately, as a retired UPS driver, I have seen my share of physical therapists. He ranks at the top and will continue to be my go-to PT from now on! He is a quintessential professional and has been very devoted to following measures that have kept his office safe during COVID. Highly recommend!!!!
