Metro Speech Therapy

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Metro Speech Therapy! My child, who used to feel anxious about speech therapy, now absolutely loves going to his sessions with Ms. Abbi—he’s always excited and happy to go, which says so much about how engaging and positive the environment is. Ms. Abbi is incredibly patient and skilled, and we’ve seen wonderful progress in a short amount of time. I’m so grateful for the care and dedication from the entire team!

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Ms. Abbi for everything she’s done for my 7-year-old daughter, Alana. Since starting speech therapy with Ms. Abbi, Alana’s vocabulary has taken off, and I’m so grateful for her love and support. Sometimes, Alana asks if she can go see Ms. Abbi because she’s so comfortable with her! Ms. Abbi’s methods to keep Alana engaged have been exceptional for her speech development. Metro Speech Therapy is amazing! The entire staff is super friendly and makes every kid feel welcomed. We were lucky to have Erika B as our speech therapist. She worked with our daughter for over a year. From day 1 we noticed a difference. My daughter started coming out of her shell, being more confident with her speech, over time began saying multiple word sentences, and worked on her pronunciation of words. Erika met with us to figure out our speech goals and worked on different tactics that we could practice at home. I strongly recommend Erika B as a speech therapist and Metro Speech Therapy.

Our journey with Metro speech has started the end of last year 2022. I have been taking my 2 year old son for both SPT and OT. Our son is blossoming and we started seeing lot of his character and personality coming out. We were fortunate to work with Ms Erika and Ms Catherine and let me tell you, they rock!! The front disk staff are very welcoming and responsive. We are so blessed to find such a place for our son.

We've been using Metro Speech Therapy for our 12 yo daughter for about 6 months now and are very happy with our therapist and the staff. They walked me through getting insurance coverage, have allowed virtual service to ensure our safety, and remain accommodating with scheduling. My daughter likes her therapist, Samantha, looks forward to their biweekly meetings, and is making real progress! I would definitely recommend Metro Speech Therapy.

I’ve had only wonderful experiences at Metro Speech! My son has had an OT there and a few SLP’s. Our current SLP Erika is well versed in my son’s needs and has been absolutely amazing - not only for him, but for the information and guidance she provides me as a parent!

We have benefitted greatly from working with Erika Harmon at Metro Speech Therapy. Erika works tirelessly to support not only my son during his sessions but myself and my family to make sure we are doing everything we can to help at home. She is clearly very passionate about her work and was able to identify my son’s very unique language learning difference. Once this was identified, his language expression soared. I honestly don’t know where we’d be without her and am so grateful to Metro Speech for everything they have done for our family.

Metro Speech has been a very great place for my son to help with his speech delay. He has made huge strides from only having a couple of words and mostly being non-verbal to nearly catching up to kids his age in the time we have been there. Cassandra and Shavon have been amazing and were great fits.
