Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy

I recently had a total knee replacement and decided to go to physical therapy at Metro Physical Therapy in Port Jefferson Station. So glad I did. My experience was phenomenal. I was greeted by Millie who was wonderful. It was obvious that she was busy but yet you were always greeted by name and with a smile. She always tried to accommodate your schedule when scheduling appointments. Wait time was non-existent. The aides were great. They were always there to help and/or motivate you. My therapists, Rachel and Craig, were wonderful! They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They developed a personalized plan to help me regain the flexibility in my knee. They were tough but did it in a way where you knew it was in your best interest. They always asked me how I was feeling and listened to what I had to say. They were compassionate and understanding of any concerns I had. I highly recommend Metro PT!

This is very clean and the staff are friendly. Lauren my Occupation Therapist and Melvin her assistant are the best. I was anxious and in pain when I got started with therapy but they always made me smile and felt comforted after each session. After two months, I am not only well enough to be discharged but I also got a free T-shirt. I like this place because I am both mentally and physically heals. I am able to return to my regular routine with more confidence. Thank you!

Metro Physical therapy is one of the best Physical therapy programs I was ever in. They are professional and friendly. Your appointment time is always honored. I went in barely able to walk after Total left hip replacement using a walker. When I completed therapy, I no longer need a walker, cane or any assistive devices. They truly helped giving me my life back. Jacob was my therapist he was excellent. Always asking me if I had any questions. Rachel is the director and runs a well-managed therapy office. I highly recommend Metro Physical Therapy in Port Jefferson Station.

My experience with this location was great. The staff as a whole is very tentative, kind and overall knowledgeable. My therapist Jacob is a true professional with a positive spirit & really helped me alleviate my plantar fasciitis pain. I went there 2 different times for 2 months each & on my last day today I feel extremely better than when I first came here. Highly Recommend ! :)

My experience at Metro therapy in Port Jefferson Station was phenomenal. After two months visitation and working with Lauren, my OT, there was a major difference in my walking ability. The strength exercises Lauren put me on helped increase and help me obtain my balance back as well as walk with confidence. The whole team at this facility is phenomenal from the OT’s to the PT’s and the receptionist’s work so hard at accommodating your schedule. Highly recommend this facility.

These guys Rock!!! I was feeling miserable for months with a neck/back pain until I ended up in the ER and they diagnosed with a neck spasm. I was referred to Metro Physical and Aquatic in PJ. Since seconf one this facility is hands on! They know what they are doing. Communication is fantastic starting from the front desk up to the highest person at the store. In my first visit I was greeted at the front and then I was directed to Dr Craig Davidson. He really took the time to understand all my situation and did an examination in my neck. After setting up a plan I started my routines. All Craig's team is out this world, they have a lot of patients but the routines in and out are seamless, they are on top of every patient, they keep the place clean and organized and also updating the progress. I was discharged after 15 sessions with Dr Davidson and his crew. My posture improved tremendously, my physical habits have changed and the pain in my neck is gone. Definitely recommended!

Highly recommend! This practice is very well run and very clean. Wait times are short to non-existent. Every member of the staff here is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Rachel heads up a professional, talented and kind team - the techs will greet you with a smile and genuinely care about the progress you make. I am impressed as it is rare to receive this level of care these days. I came here for cervicogenic headaches after a chiropractic over-manipulation to my neck. I was in extreme pain in my neck and shoulders, dizzy with headaches, loss of range of motion, blurry vision, etc. and finding it a challenge to function in my daily life. After completing my sessions at Metro, I have made a substantial recovery. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Rachel and the staff for getting me back to being me!

I chose Metro as it was only 5 min from my home, but I was so impressed with how everything was run .. from the front desk.. to my Physical Therapist Shannon , and the PTA’s who worked with me.. Marvin in particular… and then there was Bobby who was quite the character.. you can see how he was with his clients, helping them and being so funny !! Shannon was just wonderful.. listened and focused on all the right areas of my problems. I felt incredible when I left each day !!!! I would not hesitate to come back to Metro if I needed PT again !!! Thank you All so very much ! Laura Tessitore
