My husband attended physical therapy at Metro, he was assigned Michael as his physical therapist. Michael was amazing with my husband and my husband only had positive praises for Michael. Michael assisted my husband on the road to recovery post meniscus surgery, he was extremely knowledgeable and conscientious at his job. He was attentive with husband's pain and concerns. The studio is kept very sanitized and the staff is very meticulous in keeping it that way. Thank you so much Michael & Metro

I recently started physical therapy at Metro in East Setauket for a foot/ankle injury. I found PT Michael and PT Rebecca to be very pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive to their patients’ needs. Their assistant, Jack, is always eager to assist with my exercises and makes sure everything is sanitized. Towels and pillowcases are always clean. Casey, the receptionist, is always pleasant and helpful. So far my experience at this Metro has been very positive, and I already notice improvement in the pain and movement of my foot.

I came to Metro Physical with constant pain from a two-year-old ankle sprain that even medication couldn’t relieve. A surgeon recommended trying physical therapy before elective surgery, though I was skeptical it would help. However, thanks to Rebecca’s expert knowledge, empathy, and clear guidance, I saw incredible improvement. After a month, I was able to stop wearing my ankle brace, and my pain decreased by 80%, even when standing for long periods. Rebecca’s deep understanding of anatomy and her personalized care made all the difference. Highly recommend!

Eight years I walked around with back pain, going to chiropractors, pain management doctors, and none of it worked long term until I went to Metro Physical Therapy. I met and worked with Mike and Rebecca. They were profession, helpful, and focused on their patients and myself to help get me to where I am now, feeling fitter, stronger and better than I’ve ever felt within those eight years. For the first time, I’ve spent weeks without pain thanks to their exercises and help. The whole team has been fantastic to work with, from director to aides. But a reminder to those who go - KEEP UP WITH YOUR HOMEWORK. Just cause you “graduated” doesn’t mean your work is over. Keep doing what they taught you. Keep exercising, stay strong for the long run. I would highly recommend Mike, Rebecca and the whole team to anyone and you will be better as long as you put in the work. Great job everyone!

I had P/T for my right shoulder replacement for four months. I had limited mobility raising my arm above my head. My husband had to do my hair!! My surgeon said that might be my final ability. It was recommended by Mike Schaake the Director of Metro that I begin O/T the beginning of the year. Samantha Grey was my therapist. She was diligent, professional, positive, skilled and caring. With Sam’s knowledgeable treatment and the home exercises I was given, after two months, my range of motion improved drastically. My husband was relieved of hair duty, and I have full use of my arm! Thanks Mike for leading me in the right direction, and accolades to Sam for everything!

My daughter had surgery on her knee, it’s only her third time here but I can see her improvement so much already! This is a very professional place and they are so attentive. Micheal and Rebecca have been such a great help and everyone is super nice as well.
