I put in and got hired back as a rehire this company now decides that they want to do their own Health checks because I worked through them before my health check was done at the Baptist. I do have high blood pressure I’ve had it ever since I was a child and it has nothing to do with obesity, but my blood pressure was up that day instead of them stopping and not doing anything else to me. Blood was drawn from my wrist. I was given a s t. TB Skin test urinalysis I had to go to my own provider the next following day and my blood pressure was down from what it was when they took it , these people rescinded my job anyway because it wasn’t down far enough for them after putting me through all of that one of the worst experiences I ever had

I would highly recommend Dr. Villacorta / R Meadows and Methodist Rehabilitation Center to anyone whom wish to walk again. My daughter suffer a stroke it was nobody but God direction to this place the people was caring, professional, smart, intelligent, kind. They refuse to let her give up an lay in bed and give up they got her to therapy every 30 minute until she could stand and walk again this staff was super excellent for my daughter .

It was a great place to recover from a stroke, everyone was very good at what they do in the stage to getting better. I want to thank everyone that put up with me doing my stay, the two therapy that was good to me was Yolanda and Annie Lee and one of the best speech therapy was Gabbie and with out them my stay went well and the nurses and techs was the best.

I cannot say enough good things about the care my 99 year old mother received at Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center. From Admissions to her doctor, from the nurses aides, nurses and nurse practitioner, to the therapist and to her caseworker -all gave their most attentive care possible. She came from another faculty as a result of a fall and hip surgery. There she went from weight bearing to two person assist. We left MMRC able to walk with a walker and return home! The facility is state of the art as far at rehab equipment. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. Attention to detail is paramount as seen in photo. And that is the same care my mom received! She thought she was at the Ritz Carlton.

On Thanksgiving Day of 2023, my Mother suffered a stroke. She was initially treated at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Ms and later relocated to the nearby Windsor Place Rehabilitation facility for rehabilitation stint that she discharged from on 12/20/2023. Just after a few short weeks into the New Year, I had received news by way of my Sister, that on my Mother's road to recovery she had to be resubmitted to the hospital where Doctors believed she had likely suffered another stroke. This news was just as devastating as hearing about the first one. Fast forward it was the end of February/ early March when I had first heard about the Methodist Rehabiliation Center, in Jackson, Ms, for us this place was everything that I hoped it would be. During my Mothers 18 day stint here, I spent the last 5 of those days right there in RM 543 with her. I saw firsthand the dedication and work ethic of those nurses, techs and therapists who worked closely with my Mother during her stay there and I was very much impressed with the professionalism and pride in work I saw. To the 5th Floor of the Methodist Rehabilitation Center, I want to say thank you, and we appreciate all that you do! I have a list of Honorable mentions that I personally would like to include in this review, those that I saw work with and care for my Mother day and night: Marketa, Veronica, Antawanna, Senikka, Erin, Tonya, Brittany, Reagan, Comeka, Denetta, Nicole, and Tiffany. Again, Thank you for everything!

This is a place of wisdom, faith, confidence and encouragement. Dr. Hou is an amazing Dr. and true care giver in every sense of the word. My daughter was in an accident on 4.25.2023, it was touch and go and we were not sure if she was going to wake up. We are faithful believers that GOD has a plan. We did not know what HIS plan was. After 30 days Nat did wake up but not much more, when most were telling us we were going to have to go home and care for her until she was functional enough to participate in her Rehab, Dr. Hou reviewed and said "she wanted Natalie at the In patient facility". She saw past where she was that day and was confident that the plan she had in mind would bring Natalie closer to recovery. When we entered the building I felt the presence of GOD. I knew that GOD led us to a place where he had arranged the BEST Dr.(s), NPs, Nurses, Technicians and Therapist. From day one she was recovering and improving. I am not going to share the medications that Dr. Hou prescribed, But I will say that following her plan, we saw improvement everyday. I believe it was Dr. Hou's leadership, the nurses keeping Wendy and I and our family in the loop on Nat's care, the Nurse techs singing in the hall and while they were bathing and caring for Nat, and for that matter caring for us too, that got us where we are. Remember I said GOD assembled this team. We would not be where we are today with out having been fortunate enough to get to Methodist Rehabilitation center. We still have quite the road to go, but with the continued support of the Methodist Rehabilitation Outpatient clinic we have received further treatments that they advocated for. Our insurance co. I am also going not name, was encourged by the progress that they have continued to guide us through the processes and get us treatments. I would love to Name all of the Nurses but I am afraid I would leave some one out. But you know who you are, true angels. We are coming back for our "Got well tour" mean while we will still come by for our "Getting Well Updates" Nat is starting school Tuesday October 3, 2023. It will be different, but none the less it is the next step, and none of it is possible with out Dr. Hou and Methodist Rehabilitation Center.

I absolutely LOVED working on the TBI Unit. Our manager was fantastic, and the nurses had each other’s back. We gave our patients the best care available, and were witness to miracles everyday!

Our family member started out at Delhi, La. emergency facility then flown to Alexandra, Rapids Medical. After a few hours there he was flown to Tulane Medical in New Orleans. After a week or so he was transferred to Caldwell Memorial Rehab in Columbia where he stayed a night and back to Rapids Medical where he stayed about a week or so. Yesterday, after being discharged I transported him to Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, Ms. Exhausted, but was friendly greeted by security guard. The security guard recognised our love one by name which indicated they were expecting him.The nurses and nurse's aid made our family feel right at home which is a peaceful environment. They were all over it so, we felt very confident in them. Very clean facility! To sum it up-Our love one said to the doctor, " I like you. You are a good doctor." Most importantly, our loved one was pleased.
