Aquatic Therapy Sessions are the best help I can receive. They make sure my exercises in the heated therapy pool are safe and designed to benefit me plus print exercises for me to do when I am not here and explain if I don't understand. Personally, I don't do well with what I call Land Therapy Sessions which doesn't mean someone else would not benefit from them. I go through a lot no one knows about to prepare and get ready plus scheduling my medical transportation as far in advance as possible. I look forward to going regardless of what I must experience in order to make it here early so I don't have to rush and I don't have to worry in case the locker room or showers are crowded which would be rare. I won't mention names but the PTA is incredible, easy to talk to, understand and very wise. I do lose track at times but whoever is over my session gets me back on track. They work as a team here which makes it easy to check in and get to the locker room and shower and it really helps me due to them having a large shower with a grab bar and shower chair available plus the soap dispenser but you can bring your own if you prefer. Don't forget to bring a towel/s. Unfortunately, I will be in severe pain in too much of my anatomy regardless but doing this here makes a huge difference in my quality of life and having something to look forward to that won't injure me. I have improved thanks to them. I recommend this often to people that I feel will benefit from this and it will be easier and less evasive for them plus I recommend the entire facility it is located in. I counted on word of mouth advertising in my former businesses and I will not do this unless I truly believe in where I am going and experiencing it myself. I wish someone with a successful restaurant or restaurants would open up a smaller version here with a small menu. I'm sure I'm not the only person that misses the one's that used to be here. One or more of my medical transportation drivers is interested in the facility and I sent information with another driver to leave for him at Joy Ride. Joy Ride is the best medical transportation company I have ever ridden with and there are other good ones. I am not guaranteed Joy Ride because I have to call another business to schedule mine but I have been riding with them since 2016 and occasionally other medical transportation companies. If I had the income and transportation I would do this or similar here more often. If you enjoy driving a van with a ramp in the rear and can maneuver a wheelchair they are looking for drivers. They are very punctual and strict and most of the driver's have a common bond whether they realize this individually and have great sense of humors. Many are retired from another profession and drive part-time or full time. I receive assignments which is all am allowed to say and many are unpleasant. ***** plus* 🌊 🤗 🌊

Great session with therapist Lacey today. She was awesome, professional and listened carefully to my needs. Place is nice and clean, receptionist very polite and friendly and she worked with my schedule. I love this place and I am looking forward to future appointments.

This Dr. Kopp is not friendly towards overweight people with back pain. I feel he is young and lacks experience. He has the attitude that all things will be cured as long as you are fit. But he refuses to understand that poverty does not allow for the diets he recommended and he said it wasn't trying. He was combative and unhelpful when it came to seeking assistance with a open disability case supported by other doctors. He was upbeat in demenor but very degrading. Which is not emotionally supportive during times of pain.

I found Dr. Kopp to be an extremely professional and analytical physician. His position is to detect the source and provide care to manage. In my opinion, he thinks beyond the injury to determine issues and treat accordingly. I empathize with the review where the patient desired more emotional support and understand living in pain is exhausting. Pain definitely leaves us in a position of weakness, physically and mentally. I found Dr. Kopp to be fundamentally aware of all aspects and I was provided assistance and advice when needed. His role in the treatment of my pain was comprehensive but focused on the exceptional skills he was educated with. I would definitely refer friends and family to dr. Kopp. His intelligence and personality was a plus. With that being said, we all look for a physician that meets personal expectations. Mine was to relieve the physical pain. I’m sure helping patients that Deal with these issues everyday can take a toll on a physicians heart if focus is not maintained. Like all of us, at the end of the day, he goes home to his family. Any misperception of empathy for his patients could be viewed as an individual keeping a healthy balance between his work and his life. But I did not feel negatively or witness any behavior that deviated from his responsibilities.

I’ve been to physical therapy tons of times, and I have never received as much health care and compassion as I have from the team at mercy aquatic therapy. Thank you so much!
