Mercy Therapy Services On Horsebarn Rd has The Best therapists I've ever seen! I've been going to them since 2014. I've had OT 3 different times with Patrick, AMAZING guy!! When my elbow was dislocated, the dr said it's unlikely that I'll be able to completely unbend it ever again. Patrick made it work as good as new, and I'm able to completely unbend it & everything thanks to him! This last time was my 5th time to have PT. This was for my 2nd cervical fusion. Michael McFarland, Aurelia N. & Kayla were FANTASTIC! Mike was my primary therapist & he was so great at his job! He was the only one who could relax my muscles, get me loosened up, and took time with me like nobody else would. He's very kind! There was a time when I couldn't breathe without hurting & he noticed I was in tears, I didn't realize he was watching me from a few yards away from behind me & he told me to stop what I was doing on the hand bike & he worked with me through the severe tension & severe pain & I left there finally feeling better! Aurelia had me doing some motions with my head, & at one point it caused some pain all of a sudden & I teared up. She not only made sure I was physically going to be ok, she made sure there wasn't more going on with me, like at home & such! I never expected that. I had her twice. I thought that was incredibly sweet of her to make sure that my safety was fine! Kayla, she uses devices that helps people with cervical damage do exercises that make them So much easier! If there was a different therapist working with me that day, Mike would come by & say hi to me & ask if I'm ok. Patrick, the OT, always said hi to me too, asked how I've been, even if he was busy, he remembered me & welcomed me back! The other 4 times I was going through therapy, I had to do cervical exercises without these special devices & it was near impossible & painful! If you have cervical damage, ask to use the occipital float! It makes exercises thousands of times easier & even more effective! By far, the sweetest, most beautiful people inside and out! If you have a choice of which therapy clinic to go to, choose Mercy Therapy Services On Horsebarn Rd!

Mercy Physical Therapy is probably the only facility in all of Mercy that I can rave about. Their staff is top notch, know what they are doing, very kind, and caring. I'll give 2 examples of the great service.. 1, I was stuck in traffic due to an accident and got to my appointment an hour late. Maybe because I called ahead twice to inform them of what was going on, they fit me in anyway!! It was with a different therapist, but my therapist gave him a rundown of my situation beforehand ..and had a lot of input with him even though she couldn't work with my directly.. because she was focused on another client. Then, as promised, since I didn't get to work with her that day, although we were supposed to go over my therapy plan for my 2 week vacation, she emailed it to me later to my personal email! I got great service here!!!

After 2 knee replacements and a hip replacement in a matter of 7 months, I needed strength and balance therapy. Worked with 2 therapist and both were great. it really helped me get back on my feet.

Get there early? No problem, you can wait well past you appointment time to make up for it. Show up with with a broke leg? You are told to walk it off. If you say it hurts, you are told, don't be so sure that walking will not help. At $40.00 a visit out of pocket, and 3 visits a week, and scheduled for 6 weeks, $720.00 out of pocket is what you pay to qualify for a MRI. After the $720.00 is paid who can afford the MRI?

After our sons were in the burn unit for 3 months then move to the rehab hospital we did PT and OT at the outpatient facility in Springfield MO . Big mistake, they had never worked with burn patients, would not take direction from the burn unit OT. Caused more damage then good, OT Lynsey Johnson belittled the boys, calling them lazy, Robert was a jerk. When we spoke to management it all fell on deaf ears, even with the burn unit OT being in the room. They were just in it for the money, no different at this Bentonville AR unit. Tanya Skinner told us Mercy is Mercy and Shriners is Shriners, that they would not take direction from them. Glad we choose to walk away and are now going to Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati OH
