Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Northwest Arkansas

Family admitted for some post hospital care. As a former caretaker, respite care and having done hospice a few times I am so impressed by the facility. Clean, bright, easily accessible and convenient location. The staff and therapy received we all felt was top notch. They invited us for Thanksgiving and the food was great! The entire stay the food and care was perfect! Cannot say enough good things.

Clearly competent staff all of whom I get the impression are glad to be working here rather than the grudging, minimal effort seen in so much of the staff at the other facilities we were at on the way to this current point in the recovery processes. The physical facility itself is much nicer than I was expecting, including large patient rooms with ideal bathroom configurations therein (no step to enter the large shower part of the bathroom, plenty of physical space for toilet and shower areas even with wheelchair and a pair of staff helping to transfer the patient). Everyone is very open with what to expect, what changes happen to pop up, the reasons and benefits behind any meds or tasks have been explained without any sign of the irritation or impatience of many healthcare workers more focused on checking off their tasks than spending time helping patients understand what’s happening during a time almost anyone gets stressed, overwhelmed, and scared by the daunting work and uncertain prognoses inherent in the participation in rehab programs of this sort. I’m thoroughly satisfied with how my mother’s time has been and the respectful, engaged manner the staff has maintained in dealing with her as patient AND the rest of us as concerned family. Plus the tv in her room is pretty nice once I hooked my personal Roku to it with zero staff objection.

I had a very good experience at Mercy Rebab in Rogers. The nurses were great and so were the therapists. I enjoyed the food and the variety. My room was clean and spotless!

Great facility to have repair work and rehab done. The facilities are bright and clean, but it’s all about the people and everyone I’ve worked with has been concerned and sincere in both words and deeds. A great place for care and repair!

Staff, therapists, and doctors are all very caring and professional. The facility is extremely clean. You feel like you are in a hotel rather than in a “hospital” environment. I highly recommend Mercy Rehab!!

I mean, I enjoyi enjoyed everything. The facility is very nice. Everyone from the aids to the therapist were outstanding. Very helpful. I never felt like a burden to anyone.

My wife was just transferred here last night (6.17.24) and from entering the facility till I left two hours later, the group of professionals were waiting for her arrival. She was placed in her new private room, made her feel at home, brought her a hot meal because she had missed supper at the hospital she was being transferred from, allowed me to visit her immediately and quickly made her feel very welcomed. I know I'll have future updates and photos. Stay tuned.

The temperature in the building is inconsistent, but the staff are all good. Most of them are helpful, pleasant, and courteous. Food could be better. The facility is nice and clean.
