Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith

The doctors, nurses, therapists, food service, housekeeping were awesome. We all communicated very well with each other. They listened to any concerns i had. They answered any questions and explained things very well. I never just felt like a “patient,” because I was included in decisions regarding my rehab. That is very important to me. The staff was so compassionate and encouraging. I felt very much at ease while in Mercy Rehab and was very secure in the feeling that i was very well cared for. Words fail to really convey the gratitude i have for each team member and the care i received. Thank you Mercy Rehab for all you do. Thank you for being a perfect example of what team work is all about. I would recommend to anyone who needs rehab to go there. Eva Rainwater

I would easily give 10 stars if I could! My husband received care following an accident. His nurses and patient care team were all so caring and and delivered excellent care. Jerry made excellent progress with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies! Therapy was hard but the therapist made it really enjoyable with their fun and upbeat personalities. The facility is so clean and very up to date with equipment. On beautiful days we did therapy in their outside area! The food is delicious for both patients and guest. The in house dietitian works with the cafeteria making sure patients get their proper nutrients. Upon discharge or case manager arranged follow-up doctor appointments and home health. I can go on and on singing their praises!

This facility is by far one of the best places for progressing your loved ones in their healing journey. The nurses, doctors and therapists were a true team in the efficient care of our loved one, and their level of expertise was above and beyond any expectations we had, which were high. The food choices were amazing and the meals were served in a timely manner. The administration went out of their way to make sure that our family member felt like a part of their family. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Mercy Rehab for such a great experience!!!!

My mother spent a little over 2 weeks there. Dr Chen is amazing and Lisa who is over the nurses is great! I was also very pleased with their facilities and physical therapy staff, especially Tim, who was exceptional. However, as long as they have the current case manager, I can't recommend the facility. Case managers are very important in your experience as they are responsible for transitioning patients in and out of facilities.She was very lazy in her efforts to gather the correct information and treated you like she was only there to collect your insurance and draw her check; showed no regard for the patient. Treated you like you were just paperwork for her. To make things worse, we were told that we would owe nothing there, then received a bill months later for over $1600.00 and called and left messages for 4 weeks because nobody answers the phone, trying to get an explanation before paying and still haven't got a return call.

This is actually for my husband‘s review of Mercy rehab hospital. He had back surgery. He stayed in the hospital for eight days. They made no progress at all with him and he was in the Mercy rehab hospital from day one he improved. He was there for two weeks when he first got there he could barely even stand by himself and whenever he left there in two weeks, he walked 250 feet Would recommend this hospital to anyone

The staff at Mercy Rehab Ft. Smith took excellent care of my mother after her hip surgery. Every single staff member we encountered-her nurses, MAs, PTs, and OTs-were so supportive and caring. And this was her second stay because the first one was just as wonderful! I would highly recommend Mercy Rehab!

This is my husbands email but this is SHELLEY GRAHAM. I had a wonderful experience during my time here. All the staffs really nice and helpful. I cant remember everyones names but some went above and beyond. I remember nurses Jenna, Sharon, Lacey, Lou were great. (They all were) Brytany Stewart and Amber Stout from PT was awesome. Anna from OT was awesome as well. So many techs to make it easier on us patients. Messiah, Elizabeth, Jenny i remember being so helpful. Like I said everyone was super helpful. That was my third time being there and everybody was super nice all three times.I never had anyone be rude to me. Dr Chen and Beallis are the best Drs ive ever seen. Thank you for your kind care. Also the place is nice and clean. The food is good. Everything about this place is great. They made me feel right at home. Its a possibility i have to have back surgery. If so ill be back.

This great rehab deserves 10 stars. My dad was there for 2 weeks and was treated the way you would want to be treated. Respect, kindness, prompt, caring staff. Hot food, with a great variety and great taste. Occupational therapy 1,1/2 hours, Physical Therapy 1,1/2 hours daily. Off on Sunday. Would recommend this hospital to everyone in need of rehabilitation
