If you need REAL physical therapy this is the clinic to go to! It is not like the "chain" physical therapy places. There are never more than four patients being seen at a time They offer aqua therapy as well, as the University has a pool on site. Doctor Charlotte does the aqua therapy and she is awesome! This will always be my go to physical therapy clinic. I love that it's a teaching university facility as well.

After 10-12 years of nearly constant back pain, and with a new baby on the way, I decided it was time to do something. The Mercer PT Clinic was my first stop. Dr. McMahon and his team helped me train my body to move in more efficient ways, tremendously relieving my back pain. After about 6 weeks (1 visit per week), I no longer have constant back pain. I was given the tools and the awareness to correct myself if I begin to feel pressure on my back. On another note, Jessica at the front desk is truly professional and caring. It is always a pleasure to be greeted by her when you arrive.

I received recommendation to see Tim at Mercer PT Clinic from my boss for my rotary cuff partial tear and frozen shoulder combo. I've been at Mercer PT close to 4 months now and they are the best! Tim and Ray are the dynamic rockstar PT duos at the clinic and they really know their stuff. They really listen and are thoughtful in the personalized therapeutic regiments that they prescribe. I talked to them about the additional exercises that I do at home and they watched me like hawks to ensure that I am performing the right exercises with the correct body positions. One of the best recommendation that I've ever received from my boss!

As a marathoner and triathlete, I have used physical therapy services across the country. By far, the Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic is the best clinic in which I have ever received care. Dr. Timothy McMahon, Director of the Clinic, provides superb care and offers individualized attention that you rarely get at other clinics. His entire staff, including clerical staff and residents, do whatever is necessary to make the care convenient for you and to address your specific needs. I have referred many other runners, family members, friends and colleagues and each have shared my enthusiasm for this clinic. Dr. McMahon recognizes how difficult it is for working adults to get time off during the day and will accept patients as late as 5:30 pm on some days, which is a huge help with busy schedules. As a new patient, you generally can be seen in a number of days. The clerical staff works with you to assist you with insurance claims. I highly recommend Dr. McMahon and the staff at Mercer.

I have been thrilled to regain my mobility and self confidence after total knee replacement with the help of Dr. Tim McMahon and Dr. Raymond Lynch. Their expertise, their patience, and their sincere care and concern kept me motivated and positive. If you need physical therapy, the Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic is awesome!!

If I could give this clinic 10 stars I would--it really is THAT good. I have used PT in the past, but it was nothing like my experience here. Jessica, who works at the front desk, is very welcoming and professional. She is stellar at coordinating between other offices and insurance companies and makes the whole process as transparent as possible, which is difficult to find in healthcare. I always know exactly what my cost will be at every appointment. She is always helpful in accommodating my difficult schedule. Dr. McMahon is phenomenal. He is a professor at the school and is obviously passionate about his work. He truly understands human anatomy and mechanics and is great at explaining in terms anyone can understand. When I began PT, I had a rather niche problem with my jaw and I thought I would struggle finding a specialty PT to help and that Mercer would be my first stop in finding a referral. However, that has not been the case at all. Dr. McMahon has helped me regain almost all of my range of motion and has helped alleviate 98 percent of my pain--and I'm not done yet! I am convinced there is no problem too complex for Dr. McMahon. I have also worked with several of the other PTs, Andrew and Ray, and they are also rockstars who go above and beyond with patient care. You can't go wrong with any of the providers here. This place truly improved my quality of life and did so while being fun, friendly, and gracious. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Tim and Ray at Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic are miracle workers. I was referred to them by a dear friend in the PT field and the help they’ve given for my hip and shoulder has been amazing. And they are nice folks, to boot. I’ve since referred them to several friends and colleagues and they too have expressed their satisfaction. Highly recommend.

This is why they are the best!!!! Tried PT in the past, which made me worse, as I have cervical spine issues with a torn biceps tendon. Walking was the only exercise I could do with a history of always being quite active. Surgery had been recommended by one Neurosurgeon, then a different one referred me to MPTC. I was quite skeptical until I met Tim McMahon and Raymond Lynch. I now swim, do water aerobics and workout at the gym. Tim and Ray are exceedingly professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and remarkably kind and patient, as physical improvement takes time and effort. I tend to do things to the extreme. They immediately surmised that attribute and always tailored their strategy to my benefit. I don't believe you will find a better experience anywhere, when it comes to finding a Physical Therapy Clinic.
