If you are going for their spine aquatic therapy program, go somewhere else. The assessor has no idea what she is doing. She doesn’t know how to read MRIs. She says she “looks” at you to evaluate. I injured myself after doing a part of her assessment after I told her about mobility issues and restrictions. She absolutely didn’t understand anything. I felt I was being evaluated for someone’s class project. Very disappointed and shocked at the low skill set of basic anatomy. It’s difficult to get in this program, so I hope other people get qualified therapists. Take my spot. I won’t go back there.

Alyxandria Abel, PT DPT is an amazing, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and trustworthy doctor. After a car accident and sustaining injuries that persisted over the years, I needed to find a doctor that was patient enough to help educate me in what I was experiencing and how to heal. I have been seeing her for the past year and have made more progress with her then any other doctor I’ve seen over 5 years! She truly gets to know her patients and seeks the necessary research to provide a holistic and functional treatment plan. I am so grateful I found her.

This place is fantastic! My dad went through two major spinal surgeries within the span of 3 days at the Memorial Care hospital in Fountain Valley. He was in so much pain and couldn't move afterwards. We assumed he'd get transferred to a regular skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation. Thank goodness that didn't happen. Luckily, his amazing surgeon Dr. Gvozdyev knew the rehab doctor, Dr. Koh here at the Memorial Care Rehabilitation Institute in Long Beach and recommended my dad's transfer. In just under 3 weeks, my dad's care team revived him and got him back on his feet! He is 76 years old and what the professionals at this rehab did for him is nothing short of outstanding. The program is intensive. He was seen by a physical, occupational and speech therapist for an hour each a day, six days a week. It would have been impossible to find another program like this. We saw results so quickly! I highly recommend this facility if you can get in. I'm so thankful for it.
