I have been with Jeannie and Kati at MBP for close to if not longer than 10 years. Honestly I love them. With the increasing difficulties of running a medical practice regardless of what your practice specializes in, health insurance reimbursement is a real PITA and you need someone who not only can perfectly and professionally navigate the undesireables of health insurance companies, but a company like these guys who actually have your back. As much as we all love our patients, we all know they can be very difficult when it comes finances and balances due. For me personally, having a company who handles that part of business independently is not only worth it but 100% necessary. If a claim gets denied, they're on it. If a claim payment is $1 short, they're on it. If the patient doesn't pay what they owe, they're on it and keep you posted per every notice they send the patient so there's no drop in communication between your practice, the billing company, the patient, and the insurance company. I've had liens on several cases that have been 3+ years old and they're on top of that as much as they need to be and always keep me posted when they get updates. Personally that's a huge one to me because that's just money out there that needs to be kept up on and not put on the back burner. One thing to keep in mind is that everyone at MBP is extremely busy, they may not be able to answer the phone the very second you have to call them, so be patient, leave a message and they'll call you back ASAP. Having been with these guys so long now they just feel like an integral part of my practice, they feel like family to me. They are always kind, they always take the time to talk. I couldn't be more thankful for all their help over the years.
