My 1 year old was receiving physical therapy for some time and here are some things I noticed with this facility; Staff do not clean toys/equipment after each session with children. Ive asked the staff if they clean/sanitize toys after each child uses and was told yes, but I have not seen one staff cleaning anything before bringing another child in. Ive seen droppings around the room not sure if they are rat droppings or lizard droppings, but that shows the uncleanliness also. My 1 year old was coming along pretty good with her therapy sessions and came a long way, which I was happy with. I've always tried my best not to miss any sessions for my daughter unless we had emergencies. This facility has very strict rules on missing appointments. My 1 year old had a very bad 3 weeks with being hit with two different viruses in and out of the hospital, not just my daughter but my whole household got very sick. I missed 3 appointments due to my daughter not being well enough to make it to her therapy sessions. I was also not able to reschedule because of her severe sickness that she was battling at the moment. I let Medcare know I can provide all proof of all doctor appointments she has attended, doctor notes, hospital visits etc. They did not care, and did not ask me to bring any proof in. I was left a disheartening voicemail from Medcare stating that they are going to move my daughter down to 1 day a week for therapy instead of her normal two, because she missed 3 appointments, and was told if the cancelations continued that they would discharge her. What a way to treat a client! My daughter was out because of illness and this place wanted to punish us because my daughter was out sick, threatening to move our sessions to once a week instead of twice a week. Which more than likely, I bet my daughter caught the sickness from this place not being properly sanitized and not cleaned. This is the only place she was attending that are full of children and uncleaned toys. So if you bring your child here, make sure they don't get sick for a prolonged period of time because they have no mercy. I do understand that it's a business and they have to make money, but also need to take into consideration incidents like this. When I told them I could bring in all the proof needed to show my daughter has been battling illness I was told that they really wouldn't help because they are very strict when it comes to attendance because so many children are on a wait list to be seen here. We discontinued with Medcare, they honestly left a really bad taste in my mouth for this company. Treat your clients better, and please for the love of God, this place can also learn how to better communicate within their staff. If you call the front desk to notify of anything they will not communicate with other staff to update them. You will get constant calls from Medcare as if you never called them to let them know what's going on. They really do lack communication. Also, ive asked many many times to please not keep bouncing my daughter to different therapists, I asked to stick with two therapists because nobody likes to be thrown around and they continued to keep scheduling my daughter with different therapists that we never worked with before. The only reason why I gave two stars is because the one therapist my daughter did work with was lovely and really cared about her job but the remaining stars I cant provide due to the facilities lack of compassion and uncleanliness.

My son has been receiving PT, ST, and OT for a year now. We've had a wonderful experience with every therapist that has treated my son. When we had complications with insurance, the whole team worked with us, and for us to ensure that my son received the care he so desperately needed. There is no other facility I would trust more with my son.

MedCare has been amazing for our son! We originally had Pediatric In-Home Therapy when my child was an infant. The speech therapist showed me that he did understand what you’re saying/asking of him even though he couldn’t tell or show you. It was amazing and encouraging! Many years later, we would need in-home nursing and this was my first choice because of my great experience with therapy. Well nursing proved to be just as amazing if not more. I have not had any worries that my child wasn’t being cared for in my absence. His nurses have gone above and beyond for him and I’m forever grateful! Nursing has helped my son reach full potential!

After my son received a diagnosis, I visited numerous facilities that could provide him with ABA therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. I would say I visited about 7 or more places, so by the time I visited MedCare Pediatric I knew what I was looking for. I still remember coming to visit for the first time and I liked the facility so much that I asked to walk around it twice! It was also very easy to communicate with them, and they would answer all my questions and concerns promptly. The therapists are very friendly and very skilled. They are so good to my son as I’m sure they are good to all the kids. My son loves coming to therapy everyday and that’s probably the most important thing. Last but not least, all 3 disciplines that my son needed were done by MedCare’s own staff and not have to had been contracted out to a third party. This made things much easier for me and much more organized. Choosing MedCare has been the best decision I have made for my son as he is thriving, happy, and progressing. We have barely been coming for about 5 months, but even at 2 months I was really shocked to have seen a difference already. He was not able to speak—and I thought he was nonverbal—only saying unclear words and grunting, but at 2 months of therapy he was saying 3-word sentences. Now he’s able to say 2 complete sentences together. I can’t thank MedCare enough for what they continue to do for my son, and I know they can help him reach his full potential.

We’ve been in PT with KC for almost 2 years and have been so grateful for her work with our daughter! She’s been able to meet all her milestones through KC’s help and intervention. We have spent over 6 months in speech with Kori and she has helped us catch up as well as surpass our age goals and qualify out of services. And Eileen with OT has been amazing at helping us problem solve sensory seeking and sensory avoiding behaviors with different tools and interventions. Highly recommend!

My children have been coming to Medcare for almost 4 years. They love it here! The therapists are wonderful. They are always looking for ways to connect and engage the kids, so they can reach their goals. The front desk staff is great as well. They are great at communicating any changes in scheduling and making changes as needed.

This place is not what I expected. Every time I took my son for his speech therapy, he had a new teacher and kept asking the same questions as if it was an evaluation. They didn't actually take the time to do their part. Not only that, but the therapy is supposed to be 30 mns section, and they always seem to be in a rush. I also noticed it was dirty. They don't clean the toys after their sections. My son missed 4 appointments, and they barely called him? Like, really 😒 . What kind of following up system is that. Just horrible place.

When my now 6 year old was referred for speech and occupational therapy we felt lost in the process and are so thankful that we found Medcare to provide those services along with guiding us with getting ABA services. Currently both my sons are still receiving services at Medcare and we have seen that all their care and dedication has driven results! Thank you Medcare!
