They honestly could not figure out why my son could not eat, speech therapist was not good and decided to drop us instead of telling us she could not help. Kim tried and I don't fault her because I don't believe she had much support at the time. Speech there was definitely a waste of time. When my son turned 3 I was able to transfer to PA and received help from Dupont Nemours on issues Mealtime's speech and feeding experts claimed was their expertise. A year of many visits, no progress, plenty of stress and I was done. Oral phase dysphagia, low muscle tone in his jaw which took one visit from therapist to see it here in PA. The treatment plan was effective and easy to follow. I didn't have a therapist constantly in my house billing my insurance. I depended on Mealtime and looking back I am so glad got the heck outta dodge. My son is 7 and thriving. He is talking and eating like a champ! My last suggestion is no matter what, go to early intervention first. Early intervention will get your child fully evaluated from a to z and get you the services your child needs at home or at a treatment facility. Good luck to you.

A two years wait just for my son's referral to expire. Then their referral office wanted us to do their job. They wanted us get the extention with no understanding of the codes that is needed for both of my son's primary doctor and insurance needs. The office personnel was rude and disrespectful. They did not listen to my wife when she told them the the insurance company told her she (my wife) is not authorized to make such requests. Then tried to make us look like we did not care about our son's health and sent a letter to the primary doctor saying we refused service. There is so much more I just don't have the time.

Keep in mind, I have only been in contact with one person over emails. I was referred to this place by my daughter's pediatrician for Speech Therapy. No where on their site says anything about there being a 2 year waiting list. I had to find out through emails about it, after filling out their intake paper work which asks about what health insurance I have. That information shouldn't be sent over emails, it should be done either over the phone or in person. It isn't that difficult to put on the site to inform people that there is a 2 year wait list for speech therapy. It would save everyone some time, avoid filling out paperwork and sending emails to get an answer.

I want to thank Beka for helping us with my grandson Vincent this 3 months while he was using his helmet. She showed us how to help the baby crawl, move side to side to reach his toys and many other things. Sad thing is that this week was his last session but Beka told us we can reach her at anytime for any reason. I recommend this place 100% everybody here are very professional and helpful. Thank you again God bless you all
