Meadowood at O'Connor Woods

The people who work there are very helpful and caring, and the people who live their are friendly and thankful for the people who are helping them with their health care needs.

Nice place and nice environment but terrible, extremely terrible service experiance. There was not much people or Nurses around to help even when you press the red emergancy button in the room and the nurses or somebody may come like an hour and half later if your lucky. It seems this facility is a joke and most nurses seems unprofessional and only care about the money they make here. As I did some observation and walked out of the room and look around, the Registerd Nurses RN or LVN or CNA like to sit around with their cell phones talk and laugh!! Wow, so they are getting paid just to sit around being lazy and care less about the patients. There was nobody that are helpful cause My Dad had an emergancy where he needs assistance to change his bottom because his stool while he was in bed and it needs to be clean and change for him. He was crying and needed help but man my mom had to come out and ask for help yelling even when she already press the red emergancy button in the room and still nobody showed up to the room and help. The place looks nice but the service for help is extremely horrible!! You have to wait really long for help or sometimes they don't come at all. Very disapointing and very angry. I don't know how these nurses "here" eitheir Registered Nurses RN, CNA, or LVN, earn their license to practice on these patients here. So sad!!!! I wanted to leave and hope that my dad is discharged soon because this faciltiy is a nightmare from the Careless Nurses here......

My mother was in this facility, she was scheduled to leave in a few days but I took her home early because I could not handle the lack of care. I walked in to visit and stopped at the desk to check-in, I could clearly hear my mother in her room in distress. Somehow none of the 3 people at the check-in desk could hear her. My husband ran into her room as she was falling out of bed and helped her from hitting the floor at full force. I asked the people at the desk how they didn’t hear her, they gave me several excuses and never apologized. This is not the only incident, it was just my last straw. For a week I asked the facility to have my mothers medicine dosage adjusted. It took a week, and I had to ask at least 5 times (5 different people) before it happened. My mother would push the call light and 45 minutes later, someone would arrive to help her. The list of issues goes on and on. If you have ANY other options for yourself or family, do yourself a favor and pick the other option. *There is one nurses aid there name Nora, she was amazing and treated my mom like a human. She deserves a raise, she really seems to care about her patients. (She was on break when my mom was failing out the bed.) Notice most of the positive reviews on this facility are from employees, not from patients.

My Mom is there, everyone has been very nice. Only thing is my Mom doesn't like the food.

MEADOWOOD is a great skilled nursing care facility in Stockton. There is none better.

The residents are special cargo as I'm a transportation driver for a lot of them.
