Me & U Abilities Academy- Physical Therapy Clinic and Adaptive Gym

Our son Michael has been attending programming at this wonderful establishment for several years. ME&U is a gift to our community! Everyone involved in the classes and therapies is loving, wonderful, and super enthusiastic!! Thank you for affording this unique and wonderful opportunity to our community!!

My daughter, Heidi, has been attending classes with Tina for 2 yrs now. During this summer we were in CT for 4 mths. & Tina's Zoom program was a lifeline for Heidi. This lifeline continues here in FL with the opening of her new Gym, Me & U Abilities Academy. The on line Zoom classes & in house gym classes have been an unbelievable experience & a blessing in our lives. It helps Heidi connect with all her friends & she looks forward to seeing everyone each day. This program has enhanced all of our lives & helps to keep our special kids connected during these troubled times. Thank you Tina & Ann for all that you do. We love you.

Very excited for this addition to our community! We toured the facility before signing up and were pleasantly surprised. It is spacious, clean and very welcoming. Temperatures are checked at the door and masks are mandatory. Clients are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and sanitizer is provided throughout the facility. Class sizes are limited and there is plenty of actual space to move around and stay at least six feet apart. I noticed that equipment was 'fogged' and sanitized after each class. Weather permitting, there is a large exterior door which allows for a fresh air exchange. Ms. Tina is super welcoming and takes the time to get to know each of her clients on a personal level. There is are a ton of different activities and lots of different equipment to address each client's special needs. The atmosphere is very inviting and not is it only a great place to get active, but a great place to safely socialize with peers. Prices are very competitive with regular gyms. This is a very HAPPY place and provides a service to the special needs community like no other. Fitness is Fun!!!

Me & U, Tina and Anne, deliver a beautiful experience of growth and exercise for our family members that have to overcome so many limits at other gyms/clinics and life in general. The training and therapy uniquely personal even while in a group of so many differing abilities. The gentle push to overcome and expand is huge for their growth both mentally and physically. My family was so fortunate to ‘find’ Tina Tallman and ME&U. We live in a suburb of Philadelphia yet during this pandemic Tina took our daughter, Beth into this awesome group - meeting via Zoom. Making new friends, social chats, educational activities, exercising, games, etc. - all of this has helped Beth both mentally and physically through this extremely difficult time. Our only regret is obviously since we live so far away Beth will not be able to attend in person. But we are planning a vacation for next year to meet all of the ‘gang’! My family strongly recommends that anyone living in the area of ME&U who needs these services to check it out - amazing! Thank you ME&U!
