Mat-Su Regional Urgent Care

Everyone was very kind and helpful! I had to wait a couple hours to get my 2nd grader and toddler back to be seen. They had things to color in the waiting area and would give updates on expected timing for being seen. The nurses and Dr we saw were really good with my kids. Even though they were really busy It was an overall good experience and my kid got the medicine he needed.

The care given was compassionate and thoughtful. All the practitioners listened were caring. Could not ask for more. Prescriptions were chosen well and sent over quickly and have been effective. Thank you. Except the on line check in system does not work. Period. After trying to check in on line five times, and not working, it was quicker and easier to simply drive there and sit and wait. If you advertise it, please make sure the system works. If everyone knows it doesn’t work, why are you still having patients fight with the program?

I checked in online and arrived a few minutes late. The facility was very busy, as there were a few families with kids and babies who were sick. Everyone working at the facility was kind and compassionate. I was thankful to get medical attention on a Saturday.

My overall experience was good! The staff and practitioner were all friendly and helpful. I was also in and out of the clinic within 1.5 hours. Would recommend going here for urgent needs outside of your PCP office.

I had a great experience other than when I first called to see if the service I was looking for was available, the girl was very rude that first initially answer the phone and blind transferred me to someone who was very helpful. I came back to the urgent care the next day to grab something I left behind and the girl at the desk was extremely rude. All the nurses and doctors I dealt with were exceptional and got me taken care of, I just wish this individual was a little more compassionate to round out the experience.

I was visiting AK from AR and got sick so I went to the clinic. I was impressed with the ease of making an appointment and at the size of the clinic. Plenty of room for patient to have space from other sick people. The check in process was very fast and efficient. The people were all so kind and caring. I felt I was checked out thoroughly and the doctor gave me very clear instructions. If I need medical attention again when in Wasilla, I will certainly come here.

Arrived around 10am on a Monday without an appointment for what I thought was pink eye. After waiting an hour and seeing others who arrived much later getting called up, I checked with the admissions desk. They apologized & then processed my intake info. I was evaluated by the next available nurse and then put in a room to wait for a doctor. About 20-30min later he arrived and I got a detailed eye evaluation and because my problem was complex I received an expedited referral to an eye doctor. I was seen later that afternoon and received game-changing antibiotic drops. I would have given MSR Urgent Care 5 stars since their uninsured fee was also reasonable, but the 3 hours it took them to process my evaluation & referral was excessive and needs improvement.

100% A++++! Dr Buck took the time to go one step further in my initial evaluation and found a heart condition that I didn't even know I had! And I have REGULAR appts with my provider! It's not like I haven't inquired about the condition that brought me to Urgent Care that day! A great team, an amazing physician! Will DEFINITELY be recommending to anyone that desires a thorough evaluation with friendly staff! I'm off to start a few new lifestyle changes! God bless the team over there!
