I saw Mary for an initial evaluation for chronic thumb joint pain. I am a physical therapist so I need my hands to be in good shape for work. In the hour or so that I met with Mary, all my questions were answered. The treatment and home program she gave me helped my hand feel better by the end of our session. I highly recommend her services. Recommend

I have lived with a wrist injury that I have tried to rest and ice out of to no avail. I am happy to have found Mary and her office. Mary has helped support and educate me on proper pain management, stretching, and exercise to result in recovery.

I came to Mary after having surgery for De Quervains and trigger finger. I first had my right hand done and then my left. Mary assessed my needs, formulated an individualized treatment plan, and reached out to obtain my records when she realized one hand was taking longer to heal than would be anticipated. She was easily able to decipher the reason, was creative in the treatment, and overcame the hurdle I was experiencing. The treatment Mary provided was crucial in over coming the large amount of scar tissue that would have impeded normal functioning of my hands. This scar tissue would not have gone away with the basic directions I received following surgery. I spent many sessions with Mary and greatly enjoyed her upbeat, interpersonal manner. Not only is she skilled, she is someone who encourages as she educates. I feel very fortunate to have had her to help me fully regain the use of my hands. Highly recommend. :)

Very educational. I left with a new confidence in dealing with arthritic hands. Exercises to maintain and improve finger strength and dexterity. I was shown a warm - hot melted wax tank and was encouraged to try it. After 5 dips of my hands into the tank my hands were put in liners to keep the wax from where it should be. Next my evcased hands were put in large mitts to keep the wax warm. After 10-15 minutes mitts were taken off. Next the wax was rolled off with the liner. My hands were tingling with happiness This treatment soothed arthritic pain for several hours thereafter. I am doing the finger exercises and following suggested instructions. I highly recommend Mary who has worked in this area of hand therapy for years and knows her stuff. I will be returning

Mary has worked diligently with my situation of broken finger at top knuckle, surgery, scar tissue adhering to scar and tendon that allows finger to bend; while also working with a trigger finger on palm side of same finger. We are gaining, slow at first, but gaining weekly, now. She is a very pleasant person, very knowledgeable.
