Counselors consistently cancel appointments because of "crisis" situations and trainings. They are unprofessional and, because of their poor boundaries and transferrance, see what they want to see in both the child and parent. It's difficult to imagine that counselors, case managers, and in-home service providers can make things more difficult at home, but I can attest that they can and did just that in our situation. Do yourself a favor and contact Holman Group to get a decent pediatric counselor.
