Mark Christian - Somatic Therapy

My session with Mark Christian was truly a 5-star experience. To start, he took the time to get to know my story, expectations and desires. This created the level of trust I needed to relax into the session. Almost immediately I dropped into a theta state and was able to access the trauma that was causing me to feel separate from my body. Mark Christian patiently guided me through multiple layers of blockages. I never felt rushed or unsafe. If you are ready to face the unknown and/or address your trauma, I wholeheartedly recommend having a session with Mark Christian. He is patient, kind, genuine and knowledgeable. My husband also had a session with Mark Christian and although it was very different, he also felt it deserved 5 stars.

A very profound experience. I have been able to access and remove several painful thought patterns and trapped tension that impacted my physical pain and health. this has been the perfect way for me to learn how to let go of that pain and dismiss my need to hold so tight to survival mechanisms that are stuck from the past and aren't needed anymore. Being in session is very hard work, but I always walk out with a shift or change that makes life better. Keep an open mind and put yourself first.

Over the last two years I’ve received sessions from him and his care, softens, sensitivity and intuition are extremely well match with the love he has offered me in every session. My experience with Mark Christian was very insightful and profound . I had both sessions of Shamanic Journeying and TVM with him, and felt a lot of trust in his intuitive capacity to feel and to guide. I'll admit that as I am an analytical 30 year old Hispanic dude, I came in with certain assumptions about what "breathwork" would be like. What I experienced was an intense but safe healing process that (within 1 hour) allowed me to *finally* stop constantly holding my breath -- a problem I'd become aware of earlier this year but had never been able to get past. I'm so used to switching into this low-oxygen, halting breathing pattern (due to PTSD) whenever I get even mildly stressed -- being able to just truly *breathe* effortlessly at will for the first time in *decades* is just incredible. It's like I've gained this brand new ability I've been missing my entire life, that I can access at any time with 0 external substances. Mark-Christian has this very open, egoless, yet level-headed presence that made me feel safe to fully open up, and his explanation of the process was one that I could understand enough to figure out my blockage around 40 minutes into the session (you can get to a disembodied state where you very clearly visualize what's happening, hard to explain). After the session I was a little scared that I would lose it once the endorphins settled down, but I've been able to maintain it and will continue to work on it. It's just amazing. Now I sit around breathing all the time because it just feels so good. Sometimes you just need the right guide + process.

I have been in Mark Christians space three times, experiencing profound somatic journeys that enabled me to let my otherwise overpowering mind be, without forcing it away, he put me into a state of presence with my body and subtle energies through accessing planes beyond mind. This in turn made it possible to open up to receiving tvm sessions on a deep level, that my body otherwise would struggle to be receptive to. Mark Christian creates a safe container where the focus is on what comes up - body, mind, soul - without judgement, gently guiding me into a state of profound yet peaceful release. I am so grateful and want to work more with him in the future. Can reccommend him to anyone who seeks to feels seen and safe in somatic journeys, with a multidisciplinary approach that makes the experience feel very holistic. Thank you so much MC.

Mark Christian’s somatic practice was absolutely wonderful! He took the time to inquire about my needs and wants prior to the practice. He was very detailed in his questions and answers. It was my very first time taking part in a somatic massage and Mark Christian made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The practice itself was very powerful!
