EDIT: Changing to a 3 star because I was so impressed by SSgt Heather Williams. She called me personally to discuss the grievances I had and offered assistance that was genuinely helpful. Love her, we need more people like her working in healthcare. If you take daily meds and are PCSing here, REQUEST A CIVILIAN PHARMACY. Seriously. You are guaranteed to miss days of your meds if you choose this pharmacy. It’s a nightmare, half the time they’re closed before 4, they aren’t open on the weekend, you have to dedicate at LEAST 2.5 hours just to pick up a refill because they only have one speed and it’s—MICROSCOPIC. I work a full-time job off-base, I can’t just squeeze that into my schedule. They don’t even have a phone number to call and speak to a pharmacist or ANYONE that works in the pharmacy. It’s awful. I would bet that there’s more than a few people that have suffered greatly due to the negligence of this clinic. Pic for evidence. I’m literally just trying to get a refill, not even a new prescription.

The miss information and long hours waiting for prescriptions are ridiculous. To have your provider tell your medication will be filled and 4 days later you find out it wasn't after you've waited in the lobby for a total of 3 1/2hours is ridiculous. The time turn around and system here is horrible by worse the worst I've seen.

They NEVER answer the phone in pharmacy, been calling calling it for almost 20 years! Told Congressman Moore many times asking for his help and he does NOTHING!! Moore needs to be voted OUT! All I have ever gotten from him is empty promises! I feel sure him nor his wife have this problem getting medication. I guess as long at Moore and his wife get meds when they need them all the rest of us are supposed to suffer. I was even contacted at one point by one of his male helpers after my constant asking for help for us Veterans in getting meds in a timely manner ,he told me Moore couldn't do anything so I ask they why is he there if not to help citizens in his district, I didn't get help!............... NOTICE. UPDATE............................. You see the reply from Lyster say they are working on it. They have been saying this for decades!!! Also notice they said call Patient Advocate.... Did that for decades also. Matter of FACT! Called her recently left messages and don't even get a reply... We to Lyster spoke to E6 Miller in pharmacy, she was useless. Acted as if she didn't have time to listen to what I had to say and needs! Couldn't wait to walk away from me and did while I was speaking to her. She also went to Patient Advocate who was not in her office. I also later went to Patient Advocate office she was still not in. Note on table said go see someone else so I did and they were gone also. And NO it was not lunch time it was only about 2 hours after they opened. They have no intentions of fixing this. Walk across the border, or get a free flight from another country, have never paid a penny in tax then you can get free housing, meds, food, Obama phone ND more!!!

Every time I have came by pick up my medications, the wait times have always been 2-3+ hours. If you need to go to the pharmacy pack a snack and a tent because you’ll be there for a while. Edit: I’ve used the fill your meds via text option. You actually have to wait longer doing it that way. They’ll text you when your medication is ready (I’ve waited 4 hours no exaggeration). Once you go by to pick your meds, you still have to wait at least 2 hours. So it’s about a total of 6 hours if you account the time it takes for them to text you to pick up your meds.

I had a very awful and uncomfortable experience here today and I walked out of Lyster in tears because of how I was treated. Thank God there were not many people still in the waiting area as I walked out with tears in my eyes. The only people who have been kind and respectful are the front desk staff that check you in for your appointment. I got scolded by the nurse practitioner and her nurse because I didn't jump up when the nurse called the number on my ticket to call me back. Like literally a week ago I came in and I was called by my name, today I go in and no one said" Hey we have changed things, the nurse will call the number on your ticket to call you back"..no one told me that. So finally I hear my name and the nurse's first words to me are " I called 3 times"...I explained that I did not hear her, she said " I called your number ". The NP comes in talks to me in a very unwelcoming manner then slips into the conversation " If you get called more than 3 times you won't be seen"..so again I had to defend myself because she was obviously disgruntled even though the lack of communication with the staff was not my fault. So she talks to me a very condescending tone, then does my " well woman exam" which it was very uncomfortable to have someone who was being very rude touch me. I'm the patient and I should be treated with respect, not attitude because someone had to spend an extra 15 mins seeing me. The visit was very robotic like, not welcoming, I felt like I was an inconvenience, then the NP just walked out and didn't even look at me, just said Have a good day with her back to me and walked out.The bedside manner was horrendous. I didn't even get a " It was nice to meet you" I am not just a number or a task that must be quickly completed when I come to be seen. I'm a human and I should be treated with respect and compassion.

The clinic s the best looking facility on best. However the "grass" is over grown; mow the grass around the old helo pad. Tall grass allows more mosquitoes and other viscous insects (fire ants) to breed. This is a health hazard. The clinic does look the best while the rest of Ft Novosel looks like an abandoned dump- overgrown (kneehigh) grass, vines growing on buildings, random orange cones, It seems base command doesn't care about a public images and Noone else cares.

4 hour wait at the pharmacy. Over 2 hours just to get my number called to turn in a prescription and nearly 2 hour wait to receive it! Most inefficient pharmacy I have every been to.

The pharmacy wait times have been greatly improved! Don't let past reviews keep you from utilizing their pharmacy. The Q-Anywhere text system has made it easy to go about my day while my prescription is being filled - they just text when it's ready for pickup!
