I was introduced to Ryan almost 2 years ago. I had just had surgery on my Achilles tendon on my right foot . I’ve been in Ultra Runner for the last 14 years in a long distance runner for the last 25 years. Ryan got me back to enjoying what I love , built a solid recovery program and now has become my running coach. This past season a year and six months after surgery I was able to run a 40 mile race and cover 6000 feet of elevation gain and then in September complete 160 miles of single track mountain running with 26,000 feet of elevation gain. I highly highly recommend Ryan for all your PT and coaching needs.

Ryan has an amazing wealth of knowledge and advice. I worked with him virtually from California to improve my S&C as an endurance runner. I only wish I was living in Colorado, as any CO friends I've sent his way have had great feedback too. His passion for our sport clearly shows and he is so excited to see his patients improve as athletes.

Working with Ryan has been such a joy. I had taken a nasty hit in a soccer game and fell on my hip and had a lingering pain in my hip during running that was diagnosed as hip impingement and possible labral tear. I had seen a different PT for about 4 months and was feeling like I hadn't made any progress when I stumbled upon Long Run Physio on Google. I was really impressed that Ryan did not only a very thorough physical examination but also took the time to ask how this was impacting my life and what my goals were. Unlike the former PT I felt like I had a really flexible schedule based on my availability and goals. He's also very understanding that most of us are impatient to get back into our activities (and how it impacts our mental health) and will work with you to find ways to participate if safe & possible. He was also able to help with a shoulder injury I incurred and I'd recommend him for more than just running or leg focused injuries. I'm currently able to train for a long trail race I had been working towards pre-injury so the results speak for themselves!

I have been working with Ryan for almost 4 years in an effort to address a hip impingement that I have. Through our work together, I have continuously been able to do more with less pain, progressing from being able to perform my day to day movements without pain to getting back to hiking and skiing some of my favorite lines on the East Wall and getting back on my bike. Through out this process, Ryan has been a consistent partner who both meets me where I am and also challenges me to do the work that he knows will help me reach my goals. I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough.

Ryan is fantastic. I had several nagging injuries that I was ignoring while I was pretty inactive during the pandemic. Once I got back into exercise/cycling, I realized that I needed help. I feel so much better now! I no longer have back pain when I wake up, my mechanics on the bike are better so I don't get cramps after riding for a few hours. Can't say enough about how well he listens. To give an example, there was one exercise that he had suggested I do at home, but it required just a little extra effort (finding a step or a box or something for one foot) and that made the activation energy just a little bit hard to get over. Ryan changed it up and it was so much easier to get it done--no more excuses! I would highly recommend him.

The best PT around! I have worked with several other PTs in the Denver area and none compare. Ryan truly understands runners, he gets that "not running" is not an option for us and does everything he can do get and keep runners healthy. He also is a great educator, I have learned a tremendous amount about my own body, how things work together, what is really going on in my body, and the path to becoming a stronger runner! Don't wait until you are unable to run due to an injury to go see Ryan, go see him even if you are 100% healthy as he will build a program to help you stay that way. There are always things we can all do to become stronger, more balanced, faster, healthy runners.

Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about biomechanics. He genuinely wants to help patients achieve their goals (rehabbing or preventing injuries, achieving a race goal, etc.). I started working with Ryan after a running injury left me unable to move without pain for several months. I also attended one of his strength programs designed for runners. Ryan's great at identifying mechanical issues and coming up with a plan to correct the underlying issue. He takes time to explain the underlying issue and path forward so that patients so understand why they are doing certain exercises. I really appreciated this. I'm a much stronger athlete and runner after working with him for almost a year. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a physical therapist in the Denver area!

I discovered Ryan through my gym and I’m so grateful I did. After a ski injury, I needed hardware implanted. I started seeing him to prepare to have the hardware removed and then recover with him after. I started working with him June 2022 and my surgery was October 2022. His attention to detail for my injury specifically in Regards to mobility, pain management, scar tissue therapy, and genuine care and curiosity is unmatched. He hears me, listens to me, and provides solutions that not only relieve pain and increase mobility for me but also give me what I need to stay pain free and improve after. Whether you’re training, recovering, or just want to elevate how your body functions, Ryan is definitely your guy.
