Unless u are desperate for an immediate ortho appointment,i wouldn't recommend Dr Prem ramkumar and their office in Lakewood where the nurse Juan G also is. All rude ,treating patient with prejudice , the nurse Juan G would go out and relay biased info to this doctor and he in turn would come see u already with prejudice . This nurse Juan stayed longer in the pantry than properly assesing the patient and gather info ..when u check out ,the lady would be the same .she said they don't use Mychart which is wrong .She never emailed me the info i needed which she said she would and u can never get through their phone even before 5pm. Dr Ramkumar ,don't listen to patient .He may be smart but arrogant and downgrade a patient concern ,rushing you out after waiting for 2 hrs in the room.So go somewhere else if you want compassionate ,quality care.

Dr Ramkumar viewed the X-ray of my knee, told me I had arthritis. I asked him if I should get an MRI, he said no. He could see everything just to keep walking. Keep my activity up. Take anti-inflammatories. My GP doctor ordered an MRI for me. Results were multiple tears in the meniscus, a small fracture and a baker's cyst, all of which should be treated. Dr Ramkumar did not bother to get an MRI and give me a diagnosis. I am reporting this for anyone who gets a diagnosis from this Doctor, They may want to pursue another doctor and a second opinion.

Who says Physical Therapy doesn't help? Mina Sidarous and his team are amazing! They are so nice and patient. They explain all the exercises and the purpose for each. After 6 weeks, my shoulder hardly hurts anymore and I've gotten back my range of motion. Thanks, Mina!

I called their front desk 5 times for asking a question. They redirected me all the time towards another line. This line was never available, so I left 5 times vm on that line. They never followed up. The interaction with the front desk is so far the most frustrating interaction I’ve had in my life. It’s very clear they just don’t care. You can hear them thinking: “please go away”.

Very nice doctor. Very good hand. My hand is almost back to normal. I am really happy that this doctor took this time very good surgery doctor well dedicated good hands nice clinics definitely recommended. They save my finger from falling off. They stitch my nerves fix my bone on my index. I couldn’t be any happier. The only thing is the receptionist need more communication because I went in there about five days later after I was told to be there, the only thing that hurt was when they pulled up pins out of my hand, but other than that good service, good surgeon recommended and you have to be seen by him so I will keep you posted so far he’s a great doctor

The staff and treatment here is excellent. Dr. Mina helped me not only with the injury I came in for but also gave me advice on other injuries I was in the process of healing. Sam, one of the PT aids, is great at her job, she is very kind and hard working and always knew all of her patients names. Thanks to everyone here I feel strong and pain free again!

This is my second time going to physical therapy for an injury, and I wish I had known of this place my first time. Mina and his aides care so much about their patients making sure they are able to provide the best service to them no matter the condition they come in. I came here for a few months for my case, and after each visit, even the busy days, I left feeling like I was attended to properly. The ladies at the front desk who check you in and out always greeted me with a hello and smile. On days when I didn't feel 100%, Mina and the aide's outlook to continue moving forward helped get through those days. Recovery can be an up and down journey, but it is helpful to have a PT like Mina and his staff there provide guidance and support. If you ever find yourself in need of physical therapy, Mina and the staff at Long Beach Lakewood Orthopedic Institute should be your first choice.

Missed a appointment and was charged $50. I guess this means when I have to sit and wait for my appt. I can charge for my time. Stay away from this place it's all about money in their pockets.
