On august 12/2023 I went to emergency room for treatment of frequent headaches and throat problems. After waiting 4 hours, saw doctor. 3 blood tests and blood pressure. They had no answer for this only to recommend another doctor. When I arrived tried to give incompetent receptionist my medicare card . A few does later got a bill for self pay for $2900. I told them my medicare number and still am receiving bills. Callled medicare, who told me it should have been paid. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for the incompetence shown by the staff .

I went in for routine lab work for my pregnancy. The phlebotomist was so rude for no reason. She heard me telling my bf how I don’t mind the needle I just don’t like the after effects of feeling dizzy and she still rushed me out of the chair once she put the gauze and tape on. At Pacific Diagnostics laboratory they’re always so nice and make sure to tell you to sit for a second so you don’t get light headed . I should add that I had an appointment and there was only one person waiting after me. I personally would enter work in the medical field because I lack compassion, and I would advise others who lack compassion to also choose a different career path. I get better customer service and care at the DMV. The receptionist was super nice though ! I will not be returning here.

These people are soo mean and disrespectful. I have an infection , they denied me any antibiotics!!! They should be sued!! Before I said what was wrong with me the 1st question was what insurance I have I said cencal, then he asked ? When is it affective I said November 1st , then he said sorry but nothing will help me. And said no antibiotics. They totally denied me I'm a new patient! . I guess money is more important than anyone health!!! The worst!!

Just an FYI to registration- I can hear you when you put me back on hold and you say, "I'm trying to get the Hell out of here, " before hanging up. The person who answers the main phone is kind however. Apparently the calls go through a call center according to the nurse I finally talked to but yeah. You probably shouldn't be outsourcing your local calls to a local doctor's office.

My first impression: $$ is the number one priority here. Called for an appointment as a new patient. First question: What insurance do you have? (How is that relevant to whether or not an appointment is available?) Never even asked what the issue was. Answer: CenCal. Reponse: No appointments until February 2022. I hate to post a negative review however this really enlightened me on health care as it is (or is not) today. And I suspect this is the way it is everywhere now.

I cannot recommend Dr. Christopher Taglia, at Lompoc Health (on H Street), highly enough. After suffering a previously failed major surgery performed by a physician at a different clinic 2 years earlier, I went to Dr. Taglia for a consultation. He couldn't have been more thorough & patient with me. I had many concerns over my limited options, particularly the likelihood of enduring another painful corrective surgery with an even higher risk of failure. Dr. Taglia explained everything in detail, answered every question I asked, & ordered all possible tests in advance, including dietician consults, to help ease my mind & to ensure the highest probability of success. My surgery was indeed a success! Thankfully, my recovery period has been no comparison whatsoever to my previous surgical experience. I am very grateful to Dr. Taglia and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending anyone to him for treatment of gastrointestinal issues.

The X-ray tech I'm sorry I forget her name , but not her face, I couldn't tell you it anyway without her consent. But she was so sweet, really nice. It was great. Both women the receptionist made me feel at ease very pleasant and then the technician, was so comfortable to be with I forgot myself completely. I was in there and out of there bingo bango bongo.

I was referred to this facility by my Primary care Dr in Lompoc for jaw it issue. I am SO very glad I was. The last time I'd been to this location was when it was Sansum Medical. At that time the Drs, staff, entire place a total mess in all possible ways. I was SO absolutely pleasantly surprised this time at the incredible difference Lompoc Health is. Now even has an addl Urgent care for hrs when Walk in Care On Central is closed. So if you have problems before 9pm 7 days a wk you can totally avoid having to go to Lompoc Hospital. The building maybe beautiful but care there is NOT. After 4 hr wait I diagnosed with migrane. On a Sat eve. Saw my usual Dr, on Mon morning turned out I had life threatening bladder infection BP 80/60. I will avoid this hospital even if my life depends on it. Cottage Hospital in Santa Ynez, is far more superior & can do a proper diagnosis. Anyway So Lompoc Health is an Excellent place under this new company. Highly Recommend it! Other than Dr Eckstrum & his Urgent Care in Lompoc, this town was seriously lacking in any quality medical Drs & professionals in my opinion. So happy to know thats changed! Great place to be seen, staff pleasant & through, Drs Great!!!
