Lomita Post-Acute Care Center

Ugh. Not the place you want to send your loved one! Just got mom out today. Would not fill out paperwork for release! They told us to leave because she was not progressing after Hip break and surgery, so we got a place...they wanted money so did not sign papers for new place until the morning of discharge. She's dirty, stinky clothes and NO communication for 4 weeks. I'll say no more.

This place is really beautiful they will help u if u have any problems report it to the front. Desk I would suggest to come here they give the patients good food they are all wonderful and it is a suggestion that I tell u to come to lomita post - acute care centre they will treat u better than ever

My dad hated his stay there because of the noise and he didn't like the food but he was taken well care of. The reason why I give it 3 stars is because I believe there was bad communication between staff. I was asked to give a copy of my dad's COVID vaccine card multiple times despite emailing it to two different people. My dad also missed a doctor's appointment because they took him to the wrong place.

As a concierge physician I visit my patients in skilled nursing facilities. I am impressed with the excellent care Lomita Care gives my patients. The staff cares. The physical therapists are great. They are responsive to my concerns.

Since my mom had to have rehab, so glad she could get in this one. Their very caring and patient it's very clean they have made sure all her needs are taken care of. Very pleased!❤

This place is awful the minute I walked in I let them know that my mother was soiled it took me to tell 10 people before they did anything I had to urge them to do it I had to throw out words like abuse and harassment in attorneys just so that they can do it it was disgusting I regret leaving her there for a few hours she was supposed to be there for a week but by the end of the night my mother called crying because they had ridiculed her they left the lady next to my mother on the floor for two hours without coming to lift her up my mother begged for a telephone to call her children and they said we’re not gonna do that and we’re not gonna let your family in to come get you it was disgusting they didn’t have a choice but to let us in and she was only supposed to be there for physical therapy for one week they are abusive and they treat the elderly very poorly they’re very abusive physically emotionally and verbally to them and not just to my mother it was to everybody they are awful human beings and that place needs to be investigated immediately and I’m going to take every action that I can to make sure that it happens

Worst place .. Don't take consideration of there workers .. It's a shame that they have to.ask for donations to have thier employees christmas party.. Nurses (cna ) working double n still get paid lousy ...
