Having always been an athlete with several surgeries, I have done my fair share of PT. Phil at LODO Physical Therapy helped me resolve several injuries that have lingered for years. I never thought the discomfort would go away, but his patience and expertise fixed me right up! The 1:1 PT is fantastic and ensures that the PT understands how your body is functioning. Great place, can’t recommend enough!

Josh and John are really good at everything they do. Josh makes my appointments and is a very kind hearted man. Sometimes I forget to make my future appointments and he works me in somehow some way. John is my PT , but he's so much more than just my therapist. He let's me vent and helps me problem solve my personal and work issues, because im dealing with bad TBI. He's a very positive part of my life. He always has me in better spirits by the time I'm done with my appt.

Phil is hands down the best physical therapist I have ever had. I’ve been an athlete throughout my life, so I’ve definitely had my fair share of injuries and physical therapy appointments. Last year, I snapped my right femur through and through. Within a year and a half Phil helped me go from re-learning how to walk to biking 192 miles in 2 days! He’s the best physical therapist because he’s extremely knowledgeable, listens well, and pays keen attention when you’re doing your exercises. He has also experienced a gnarly injury himself before, so he’s empathetic to the tough recovery processes while finding a balance of pushing you to work harder. My favorite thing about Lodo Physical Therapy office is that when you schedule an appointment, you’re typically the only patient working with your physical therapy during that time. I’ve been to many physical therapy offices where my doctor had 3+ patients at once and handed off most of my appointment to the assitant/student in training. My recovery from those injuries have been minimal if any at all…LoDo physical therapy does not do that practice - instead you get to work 1:1 with your physical therapist the entire time, with them guiding you through each exercise. I’m very thankful for the way this office runs their practice and for Phil! Also, their front desk secretary Shelby moved on to her next adventure, but shout out to her too cause she was always so nice and helpful :)

I’m so happy I found LoDo PT! I’ve struggled with Achilles tendinitis for the last couple of years and wanted to get back into running after moving to Denver. John helped me immensely in a short period of time, and was always able to coordinate around my schedule. His exercises were simple and he always explained everything clearly. Everyone in the clinic was friendly and had a great sense of humor. I’m now back to running without pain and feel stronger than I did just a few months ago. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Coming to LoDo Physical Therapy and working with Phillip for multiple months was always a pleasure. Phillip listened to my concerns and took time to understand my goals so he could keep track of my progress throughout the recovery process for a torn labrum in my hip. The sessions and at home exercises were dynamic throughout the process which allowed me to continue to make progress at a pace that my injury allowed. In addition to the great services, it was also always a pleasure to interact with both Phillip as well as Danielle during visits, and everyone was very professional. While I am happy to fully recovered now, I certainly do miss coming in for sessions. I would recommend LoDo to anyone looking for a physical therapist

Both Laura and Danielle have been amazing to work with! Laura is the first PT I’ve seen and I wouldn’t go to anyone else in the future. I broke my shoulder from a dirt biking accident back in November and immediately started working with her - I saw her for 5 months and now have excellent rotation and strength back. She has given me plenty of at home exercises as well to continue building the strength in my shoulder. During sessions, she really listens to what you’re feeling and is patient with your progress - overall highly recommend! Danielle also made the scheduling process super easy. She’s easy to get a hold of, responds quickly to emails and is flexible with changes.

LoDo Physical Therapy has been an excellent experience all around. The practice is ran very well, and keeps their patients engaged. I've worked exclusively with Dr. Phillip Wherman the past 9 months following ACL/Meniscus surgery, and my progress has been excellent. Phil challenges and supports me during my sessions, and I always know he has my safety in front of mind. It quickly became apparent that he is in-tune with all his patients, and pushes them at their own appropriate pace. At no point have I been pushed past my "pain" tolerance to regain my flexibility/movement. He also takes sanitation very seriously, cleaning all equipment immediately before using it. In addition to his professional diligence, Phil has a great personality and I genuinely enjoy spending time with him twice a week. Danielle does an excellent job working with you on scheduling, insurance and all other issues. She makes sure to check in with patients each visit to ensure future conflicts and issues are avoided. Finally, she has done an excellent job supporting mask use, social distancing and sanitation in the office. Visiting the practice, and the people who run it has been a breath of fresh air in a crazy year! I highly recommend LoDo PT to anyone recovering from a sports (or any other) injury.

I had an incredible experience with LoDo Physical Therapy. Laura was the 3rd PT I've seen for lower back pain and she helped tremendously. I start my Family Medicine residency very soon and wanted to feel strong and capable. She helped me achieve this goal. Laura truly cared about my improvement and provided a combination of effective exercises and stretching for my lower back. As well, the facility is very clean and Danielle at the front desk is a rockstar! She will make sure you are well taken care of and feel like part of the LoDo PT family. Overall, very very positive experience and I highly recommend them to all suffering with pain or needing help with recovery.
