Already seeing the benefits of doing PT with Maral. Prior to meeting Maral, I had been living with foot/ankle injuries over the last 10+ years, always avoiding doing anything about it until it started really impacting my day-to-day, that is when Maral came into the picture and it’s been significantly better since working with her. I have had less pain and more mobility. She is thoughtful & kind (along with the whole Living Healthy team). Really enjoy coming to their office and wanted to extended a sincere thank you!

Maral has helped change my life. I came to her from multiple PTs at kaiser and even two out of pocket PT’s. My past 2 years plus of PT experience left me traumatized, unmotivated, and helpless and somehow I left worse then when I started. Maral listened to me and adapted my body needs. We discovered early on that I was hyper mobile, but after a while, Kylie suggested that I might have EDS. They put me on a very slow regime which was so welcomed after my previous experiences. Past Pt’s would push me past my hypermobility and try to get me in heavy weights as fast as possible, but that left me damaged with horrible sciatica. Maral never pushed me to do exercises that were causing me pain and instead helped find creative ways to adjust programs and exercises. She has been patient and really validating if I tell her something isn’t working. This was the first time I encountered a PT that encouraged me to speak up if something isn’t working and allowed me to feel comfortable doing so without shame or making me feel like I’m being too demanding or I’m not doing something correctly. Simply put, I finally felt like I had a say in my health and it was a partnership between a PT and patient, not just a clinician handing me a spreadsheet and sending me on my way. Fast forward almost a year later and I am doing way better and am way more functional than I have been in a long time. I will of course need PT for the foreseeable future as I have hEDS, but I am so happy I found a dedicated and empathetic PT that is Maral. Her gentle nature and support through my tumultuous health journey has really changed my life for the better. I have had about 6 PTs so I hope you can take my word when I say that Maral is awesome :)

I came in for some knee issues related to my gait which at the time I had no idea of the cause. Kylie expertly diagnosed this and designed a set of physical therapies that helped a lot. At her recommendation I ordered some shoe inserts to her specifications and have had no issues and continue my yard work to my hearts content. Thanks Kylie!!

Dr. Rowe has been such a revelation for my shoulder and posture! I'm young (early 30's) and used to spend a lot of time in the gym. I've also had bad posture all my life, and 5 years ago I managed to tweak my shoulder in the gym. For 5 years my range of motion in that shoulder got worse and worse and my posture and strength got less balanced. I finally went to see Dr. Rowe, and she brought my shoulder health back to a place that I didn't think was possible, and in only a few weeks! I so regret that I didn't see her sooner. She takes the time to understand your whole lifestyle, then focuses it all down into a small number of tightly targeted exercises. Because she's so focused and methodological in her programs, you feel the progress quickly, which helps keep you motivated to fix the whole broader system. Highly recommended for anyone, but especially for tall/slouchy folks or programmers :)
