Littleton Care and Rehabilitation

This place is amazing, when you can take a person who is immobile and get them back up walking is wonderful. The staff is the best, always available and encouragement is there pride. All the way from administration to housekeeping, they all do a great job. Very friendly and experienced facility, so glad my sister Lourdes was brought here for her care. Lourdes was afraid of falling and arrived immobile. And they have brought her back to herself, I recommend this place to anyone, who needs physical therapy, and care, staff is absolutely wonderful, keeping family involved with everything. I could go on for ever, big thank you to, Brian, Scott, Glen and Jenn, they make sure things get done. Nurses and CNA are great at there work. And the food goes without saying. Food staff is wonderful. Laundry staff always making sure closets are full. Love this place

My dad broke his pelvis and spent 3 weeks at this facility. I'm not sure who gets credit for creating the caring culture that pervades the place but it's pretty incredible. Every care provider, nurse, PT, OT, and ST is incredibly nice, considerate, and competent. The facilities are fine, but send your loved one there for the people. They're awesome!

DO NOT let your loved ones stay here. Especially if they are unable to advocate for themselves or communicate with you about what goes on here. I believe that most of these reviews are fake. This place is run down and filthy. The care givers are bottom of the barrel that most likely can’t get a job somewhere better. One of our family members witnessed a caregiver being verbally abusive to an elderly male patient in the dining area. When the wellness director of my mother’s assisted living home came to evaluate her, he witnessed the wrong medication being administered to a patient that was sharing a room with our mother, by a caregiver at LC&R. This place was grossly understaffed. They forced us to hire an outside agency to “babysit” our mother, who was barely ambulatory at this point, on a Saturday night at 8:30pm. This agency did not take insurance(which our mother had great insurance and Medicare) and there was a sign up fee. They wanted us to hire someone for 12hrs at 40/hr plus sign up fee. We agreed to 6. We could not get her out of there fast enough. When she was picked up by my sister, some of her clothes that we were instructed to provide, were missing. The clothing she had on was soiled all down the front with chocolate pudding, and she had on a soiled disposable undergarment. This facility also billed the insurance for rehab visits that we are certain did not occur. Also a previous review from another family member was mysteriously deleted.

Littleton Care and Rehab is a beautiful, small 35 bed facility. Nestled in the heart of Littleton, there is no better facility to care for your loved one.

Run, don't walk, away from this place! Sad, outdated facility with a soul-sucking atmosphere. Saw a nurse preparing medications holding a doughnut in her mouth, the front desk nurse completely inattentive when my father arrived by patient transport. We gave it a try but ultimately pulled him out.

Safety first?? This is the actual vehicle they transport their patients in(Picture is worth a 1000 words).  Facility is so old that there are no showers in the rooms($321 daily for a private room). Our 86 year old parent received one shower in two weeks during rehabilitation at this facility.  We recommend you continue your search for a newer more reliable rehabilitation facility.

My Grandma stayed here once previously and is now there again. We are so amazed with the care she is receiving. From the nurses to the administrative staff, everybody has been so supportive and professional. As we moved my Grandma in we had challenges with her health and the insurance bureaucracy, etc. Littleton care and Rehabilitation Center went above and beyond helping us through these challenges. We could not be more pleased an appreciative!

It would be nice to see housekeeping come around more often. The floors haven't been swept for days and rooms haven't been cleaned.
