Litchfield Hills Orthopedic Associates

I have been seeing Dr Spero for over 10 years. I have always trusted him in all of my care. He has both orthopedic and neurosurgery experience which has been a plus for me. My care has been conservative, he doesn't do surgery if a more conservative approach can be taken. That's what made me stay with him through all the years.

My visit with Jennifer D’Amico was an absolute pleasure. She took her time to explain my situation, answered ALL of my questions, suggested other home treatments, called in a prescription and was just a lovely & pleasant person! Very highly recommended!! I have, in the past had very negative encounters with podiatrists & never heard anything positive from other people regarding any podiatrists, but Jennifer D’Amico is a whole new breed.

I felt very comfortable the moment I walked in this office . The staff here at the office were very pleasant , informative and helpful .Dr.Spero answered all of my questions and was very easy talk to about my situation . I am very happy to be in the care of Dr.Spero and his associates !!

Dr. Spiro made my surgery experience very comfortable. Very professional. Much consideration was given on any pain I felt which was very minimal.

Had an issue with my foot, and looked up podiatrist near me and found Dr. D'Amico who had great reviews and thought she would be an excellent doctor to see, wish her scheduling at Litchfield was better, had 2 scheduled appointments cancelled at the last min the past 2 weeks.

Injured my knee. Called litchfield ortho and scheduled an appointment. Specifically asked about my insurance, if I needed a referral, or anything of that nature. The woman on the phone told me no, you just have a $25 co pay and that’s it. Fast forward to today, I show up, sign in, the woman at the desk hands me some paperwork to fill out. 5 minutes into my paperwork she comes out and says that there was a mistake and that my insurance is actually out of network, even though when I made my appointment that was my biggest concern, and they said they accept it. She said I could still have my appointment but have to pay out of pocket, no thanks. Now I have a bum knee and have to call a different orthopedic and wait even longer with an injury to get checked out. Oh and miss another day of work, because I took today off to get this taken care of. Thanks for nothing.

I have had 5 toe nail surgeries, none here until today. Dr. D'Amico impressed me at the speed and the tenderness at which she handled it, and took my mind off it. Fantastic woman!

He has the best bed side manners he explains everything that your going through and does not rush out of the room he answers all your questions and that what makes me very comfortable.
