Lifting Spirits Therapy

We loved Lifting Spirits. Yuridia really is gifted at what she does. You can tell that she and the rest of the staff truly love the kids. There are people who are good at their jobs, and there are people who use the gifts God has given them with their whole hearts in it. Lifting Spirits is the perfect name for it, because that’s exactly what they do here. *Also, a shout out to Maureen who always has a smile on her face and puts one on ours! We love yall!!!

If you are looking for a kind and compassionate place for your family's therapy needs, you must consider Lifting Spirits. Ms. Yuridia is amazing and professional and the staff really cares for the young people. Every place is not perfect when it comes to our children, but Lifting Spirits actually cares. Hats off to Ms. Yuridia and staff!

Lifting Spirts is fantastic. My daughter has Down syndrome and we see Yuridia for OT. She has been a major help to my daughter with feeding and some fine gross motor skills. She has also been a huge help to me trying to navigate being a mom of a child with special needs. There are times I feel like she knows more about Down Syndrome than her pediatrician. Anytime we need to cancel her appointment because she is sick, she usually reaches out to me to check on her to see how she is doing. You can tell that her heart and soul is in her job and in her career and she wants nothing but the best for all of the kids that she serves. I have worked a little bit with some of the other staff and her office and they have all been fantastic.

Súper irresponsables! They lost my daughters referral, all 3 of them, I call to check because it’s been almost 2 month just to see if at least we are close to a spot and they can’t find her on the system The day I went the lady on the front "took" copies, even told me she was having a good doctor that she work with him before! But now they don’t remember, I ask to speak with the manager and they refuse.

I absolutely love the therapist here!! They are amazing! They care about not only the child they are working with but also the family! They are gentle with my baby girl! They have been with her since she was a NG-Tube to her new G-Tube baby! I would recommend them to everyone!

Yuridia is over Lifting Spirits Therapy Center and she is also my sons OT, and feeding therapist. She is not only an amazing therapist to my son and all the children around her, but she is the most compassionate, loving and community driven person I have known. She has got my son to do so many things that we thought were not possible. She is goal driven and displays her expertise with every child she comes in contact with. We are very pleased with her services and I recommend Lifting Spirits for your child's needs. Love, love, love her.

The physical therapists there are all wonderful. They will love your child and work with them no matter the challenge. However the management, specifically Yuridia, is hostile and unprofessional. I have seen kids be on a consistent schedule since my child began therapy but have not been offered the same treatment until I called and expressed my concerns. We get called an hour before saying that they have a spot open. Oh and this could be on any given day. So we were expected to sit around and wait on their call. When I went to talk to Yuridia about it, she called my concerns with their care for my child "unnecessary" and proceeded to try to speak over me. This wasn't the first time we were talked down to by said manager and to be honest, if we stuck around I'm sure it wouldn't be the last. If you can't handle a complicated case, then just say that instead of being a nightmare to work with for parents and children that have been through enough. I'm sure my review will disappear, like all the other negative ones I've seen about similar situations with this person. Until then, I hope this helps parents who are passionate about their children getting fair, respectful treatment.

My son Eli had his last physical therapy appointment yesterday! Overall great experience. He is a heart warrior and they took great care of him and helped him reach milestones after surgery. Lindsey and Kyle were beyond great. Definitely will recommend this facility to anyone looking ❤️
