Really amazing place to help with children dealing with Sensory Processing issues. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and caring. They explain what your child is going through and show you the steps to help your child cope with it. Highly recommend if you have a child with SPD.

I have a 7 years old son. I brought him for an evaluation and it seems will start here for an intensive sensory program. I had a chance to meet with the director of center and I feel so comfortable about his approach. It seems this center really taking care of my son. I spoke with some parents and heard about the changes with their kids. One of the parents were coming from Bahamas for the intensive program and the mom said we understand the underlying of the issues with our child here. And another mom said his son get the peace after a lot of anxiety. They explained me all the steps clearly. Now I am waiting for the consultation and then will start for an intensive program. Hope I will see my son in a calm body and mind...

What a truly horrible experience. My child had “sensory” testing done at Lifeskills. The report my husband and I received was awful. There were medical mistakes, grammar mistakes and it looks like they took 5 minutes on it. After they took my money for this I was then told my son needs to attend an “intensive”. The cost, SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS! This is absurd. Elerie was our occupational therapist. She was abrasive and rude to my son. The staff were not friendly and looked bored. I have never written a review before, but I feel obligated to do so, as I don’t want another family to go through a similar experience and then get swindled out of their money. It seems they only care about their bottom line. I have since taken my child to elsewhere and I will never recommend Lifeskills.

It’s really a sad and disappointing thing to read all these wonderful reviews of your programs when you don’t accept insurance (not even Children’s Medical Services; for medically complex children). You don’t offer scholarships or even a sliding scale for families on limited incomes. I guess the only children and families worth helping are the ones who can afford to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket each week.

It is very disappointing that this therapy facility does not take insurance. When we were looking for O.T. re-testing for our son, it kept us from consulting with them even though they are only five minutes from our house.
