My grandmother was just transferred to this place today (12/4/16) from Memorial Hospital and I felt so uneasy being at this facility with her. I couldn't hardly understand the nurses at all with their heavy accents and they were very rude towards me. The facility was clean and friendly upon arrival, but when we got to the room, it was dark and gloomy. There were a few small bugs on the walls and the walls were basically paper thin. They don't close the doors to the rooms so you can hear literally all the patients moaning and their televisions all blaring over each other. Plus, two double patient rooms share one bathroom, which I see as odd and unsanitary. I felt so uncomfortable there, and I'm sure my grandmother was too. She was in so much pain from her hip surgery and the nurses made her wait about three hours to give her her medication. I felt horrible leaving her there alone because visiting hours were over. I hope this place gets their unprofessional heads out of their asses one of these days before they get sued.

IMHO this place is horrible. My mom was there for 2 1/2 months and it was a nightmare. We had many problems with the administration and the staff. She was even threatened by one of the staff when she reported a problem. They refused to deal with the fact she was being bullied constantly by her roommate. They didn’t clean her properly and she got an infection on her skin. This set off a chain reaction where she had to be taken to the hospital and wound up passing away a couple of weeks later.

My mother Linda Harris was there in 2013 Everytime I would go see my mom,she was always drugged up on what they were giving her (morphine) . She was there lil over a month and a half I believe. She ended up passing away one morning unexpectedly while she was there.there was a lawsuit there apparently ,didn't find out until after she passed.

This is the most horrible disgusting place ,nurses and staff are ignorant and stupid including Joellen director of nursing last year. The California license board keeps this place open even with all the law suits and complaint's don't let your family or friends go to this place, my mother suffered for it. The physical therapy group is also stupid and ignorant. I had to give one star to write this. A lawyer in Bakersfield stated we sue them all the time. Scary stay away. This message is in honor of my beloved Dear mother..

Upon entering this place My Sister almost slipped and fell in the lobby due to a puddle of water from a Leakey roof. Once we got to the room which My Mother had been transferred to from the Hospital, it reeked of mold and urine. At this point we were VERY uncomfortable knowing she was going to be left there. We tell the person in charge of her she hadn't eaten . They than bring her a NASTY cold sandwich and other items which she couldn't eat. Due to her Renal , Diabetic diet. We than two the lady tending to her she has to use the bathroom and she tells her in a voice as to speak to a child, " You go pee- pee you diaper and we clean you up. " They did not even attempt to help her to go to the bathroom. And on another day A So CALLED THERAPIST " Hero " came in to work with her. A WHOLE 5-10 Minutes. Needless to say we brought her home and are nursing her back to health. So if you care or love someone DO NOT SEND TGEM TO THIS FACILITY. This place is all the horror stories and more that you hear about these places. And 95 % of the workers barely speak English. 😕

If you love the person you don't want them here my mother in law was on the bed pan for over an hour right after back surgery.they don't even pay the cable bill. the food is nasty and the nursing staff is rude and very unprofessional.dam Obama Insurance won't put her any where else

Place relatively nice. Clean facility. Residents seemed well groomed. Staff is not the friendliest. Front desk girls are very helpful and nice.

My dad was there,he passed away on December 22,2017,I paid for the full month,he didn't stay the full month,I should have 8 days,of his money coming back to me,that I need to pay the rest of his funeral, so I called last week a lady named bea,no I'm sorry or condolences, just oh I'll call you back today before noon,still haven't got a call,almost a week later, so I called her back,oh she's in a meeting,so sad that people's loved ones are just a paycheck.once you get past the front door and on the long term care side the smell of per is nasty,I had heard not so good stiff over the years, but now going through it myself,I know,the things are true,I'll never recommend any body there.
