My sisters and I are eternally grateful for the care that our Mom has received over this past nearly five years. We believe that the special care that the in-home aides have provided has extended her life, enabling her to come back home to her apartment and to live more independently than she otherwise could have. Being in one's home is so healing. We appreciate the flexibility you demonstrated as we figured out the optimal schedule..and adjusted in from time to time. You were a company that we could count on, resting easy that someone would be there with Mom as planned, even in the midst of a major snowstorm! Life and Health Care has provided amazing service to my mother for the last 4 years. This allowed my mom to stay in her home, happy and healthy. The aides took care of many tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, cleaning, medication control, taking her to some doctor appointments, and grocery shopping. They also helped my mom with daily exercise by walking in the hallway of her apartment and arm exercises with bands. The aides were hard-working and very dependable. We also utilized an optional nurse visit weekly which allowed us to keep close tabs on my mom's health. Communication was excellent - they would reach out if there were any questions or concerns. David Everson took care of scheduling and would inform us of who her aides would be for the next few weeks. They also worked with us to cancel aides if we were going to be with my mom. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who may be able to benefit from extra care in the home.

I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for this company. They cared for my mother during her last few months and are now working with my father. Here are some words that describe the staff of Life & Health Care: kind, generous, patient, forgiving, compassionate, hard-working, flexible, willing, able, positive, dependable, consistent, practical, loving, knowledgeable, helpful, giving. They were and are just there for us. I initially called at 7am one Sunday morning and spoke to Sarah - I was expecting a voicemail message but instead spent a half an hour taking through options with one of the most compassionate people on this earth. From that moment, every experience with anyone from the organization has been top-notch, professional and spot-on. This is how a company should operate. Life & Health Care helped our family so much as we went through the journey with my mom, who had dementia. Their knowledge, compassion, flexibility, and availability at all hours was invaluable. They made arrangements at Hope Harbor for extensive evaluation and even brought mom home from Storm Lake to get her directly settled in the memory care unit to make the transition easier for her and less stressful for our family. They went above and beyond, and we will be eternally grateful to them.

Living about 1 hour away from our father's home, our father was able to stay in his home much longer than would have been possible had Life & Health Care, Inc. not been in the picture. We have nothing but positive thoughts about all the people that were involved with attending my father's daily needs.

Life and Healthcare provided compassion when caring for my Mom. They provided transportation to and from dialysis and in-home support. I appreciate all they did for her.
